Find out what French restaurants to try in West Palm Beach. With sunny skies, nearly perfect year-round weather and a range of outdoor and cultural attractions, West Palm Beach presents the ideal setting for a weekend escape. Enjoy a game of golf at a number of pristine local courses or hit the beach for a day of tanning and catching up on your reading. See African chimps and endangered species like the Southern White rhinoceros wander free in a natural habitat at the Lion Country Safari. You could spend an entire day on Peanut Island, a popular tourist attraction that houses a bunker built for President John F. Kennedy during the Cold War. The island includes the bunker, a museum and plenty of picnic areas, plus biking and walking paths. The ferry ride to the island cruises past the opulent mansions of the city's wealthy residents. For those who prefer indoor endeavors, the Norton Museum boasts an exceptional collection of American, Chinese and European art. Famous performers appear at "The Harriet" and at the Kravis Center. Of course there's always shopping, the city's other favorite pastime. From designer boutiques to big name department stores, West Palm has it all.

French immigrant Sylvie and her late husband have owned the French Corner Bistro for many years. In a small restaurant in a strip mall on Okeechobee Boulevard, they created a local outpost for French cuisine and culture. The summer special offers soup or salad and dessert and the main entree for the price of the entree alone. It is a super deal if you can eat all of it, which is not easy. The home-made split pea soup was outstanding, along with the goat cheese salad. My wife ordered one, I ordered the other and we shared both. We both ordered the incredible crispy duck with sides of spinach and potatoes. Both of us had profiteroles for dessert. A super meal for a modest price.

Diverted from our usual Chez Jean Pierre birthday dinner (they are closed at this time) to this very nice restaurant, I was very pleased with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the service. At CJP, by comparison, the surly fake-French waiters are always a challenge, but here - CLE - they were down to earth and happy to explain their specials and steer you toward their best food choices. The Chilean sea bass was extraordinary good - having had it many places before, including NYC top restaurants, this was special. THe most fun aspect of this place was the homemade marshmallows with the table top fire pit to toast them to your liking. Unique and delicious. Definitely a great option for Palm Beach dining in the throws of summer.

For years, we've thought of CJP as the best restaurant in Palm Beach and we've never had anything we didn't enjoy. Staff stays forever and service is terrific under watchful owner eyes. Last night I had smoked salmon and then boudin blanc.....terrific. Dale had Dover sole.....also terrific. For dessert we all shared profitaroles.

Came for dinner, enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Started with being greeted as if we were old friends, and ended with Carlos coming out the door after us to thank us for coming. Small, intimate restaurant, great service, excellent meals, friendly staff. We will certainly be back.

Fine dining Cafe Boulud in the luxurious Brazilian court hotel is the closest thing South Florida has to all his restaurants in NYC so we make it a point to try having dinner here every time we are in Palm Beach. The staff is always A1, sometimes the food has gone down a little, but itâs only ranging from a 4.5 to a five on five, so itâs always excellent, and we love the timeless contemporary decor. Iâm even thinking of getting similar chairs for my own new dining room. If I only had one weekend in Palm Beach café Boulud would definitely be on my to do list. If itâs in your budget then Iâm sure you have heard of the chef before (although heâs not actually there himself, it holds to his standards)and I highly recommend it.

Just got back from one of the best "single diner" experiences I have had. My waitress, Theresa was attentive but not overbearing. Her suggestions were great. The food was wonderful. I love the little plates. Ambiance was like Paris bistros where I have eaten. Just sorry I don't live here because I would definitely be a regular.Thank you, Kathryn! Hope to see you again on your next visit back to WPB!
