I only had coffee and breakfast here twice as it was a short visit to Bondy but I would definitely go again. They are open early and close around midnight. Friendly helpful staff, as my French is only basic. Cafe Cream only â¬3.80, a large fresh baguette with butter & jam only â¬1.90. Would have loved to have time to try their lunch and dinner menus. We came here for lunch. The waiters attitude was great from the start to the end. We took the 23Eur lunch set which offers dishes of the day (starter, main course and yoghurt or dessert). Starter was great (mackerel fish) but the stewed beef was really disappointing as it was way too hard. The risotto side dish did not fit well with the beef. The dessert was a cheese cake which was not outstanding. Average experience overall. The à la carte courses look better indeed but the prices are not the same...

Ambiance cosy,
Good food with a Nice environment. Service is done by two friendly girls of which one is the owner together with the brother who is the cook. Would advice others to eat here for sure.

We found chef Guillaume by accident a few years ago in Paris. We enjoyed the ambiance and his cooking at Miel et Paprika and at Guillaume. He enjoyed amazing success, reaching I think No 7 on the TripAdvisor ratings list for all Paris restaurants, with his unique one-man-band Sixieme Sens in Rue de la Roquette near Bastille. We were sorry to see that restaurant close a year ago but we understood that no one could keep up the pace demanded as Guillaume was reception, chef, and everything else.So we were pleased to find that he was reopening Sixieme Sens in a different location with a slightly different concept. This time he has assistance in running the place with a waiter and kitchen hand. However the chef still keep a close eye on the dining room and was willing to chat with each guest about their meal etc. This personal touch was one of the main reasons for the success of the previous Sixieme Sens. The new location is away from central Paris and in the pleasant suburb of Neuilly-Plaisance which is about 15 minutes east on the RER from the centre plus a short walk. It is not the sort of place a visitor or tourist is going to stumble across by accident - you will need to make an effort and, from our experience there a week or two after the opening, the effort is justified. The restaurant is still small, about 30 seats, but that is a lot bigger than the previous version. It is attractive to look at with a small bar and generous tables. The food is the same very high standard. We had tartare of swordfish and carpaccio of duck as starters followed by grilled goose and charlotte of lamb as the main courses. All were of a very high standard. There is a small wine list with a good selection at a variety of prices. Our two courses each and a bottle of wine came at under 90 euros which we thought was very good value. On weekdays there is also a cheaper set price menu for lunch. So, the location has changed but the same high standards haven't. We wish this restaurant every success.

We just popped in for lunch because it was close to place we are staying at and didn't expect anything extraordinary. But this place is awesome!!! We had the best mushroom soup ever and the other meals we tasted were amazing too! Staff was also very nice and helpful. We are definitely coming back soon!!

The location of this restaurant could not be worse. Hard to reach because of the tortuous one-way system of this Ile-de-France borough, it is even harder to find parking once you get there. But the rewards of this foolhardiness include food that is simply sensational, and prices that defy the laws of Economics. Food as art carries the risk of persisting hunger. Food as surrealist art even more so. Not here, where appetite as well as all five senses will be amply gratified. Since our first visit several years ago, the staid conventional wood-dominated décor has been upgraded to glass, steel and ceramic The space seems to be somewhat larger, and the wait staff much younger and less competent than previously. But the food remains as imaginative as ever. The 41-euro menu buys three courses ( choice of 4 for each) plus a fine selection of cheeses, unfortunately badly presented and poorly explained by our waiter. The complimentary extras included an amuse bouche (Lobster and goatâs cheese raviolis in a creamy mustard sauce), and a stunning pre-desert (a glass of frozen white-chocolate mousse). My entrée was billed as a crème brulee with Burgundy snails and garlic, and was flamed with cognac by the resident arsonist. My wifeâs comprised three perfectly plump scallops on a crunchy cheese biscuit topped with a luxurious cole-slaw of beetroot flavored with passion-fruit. For the main course, I selected the snowy-white cod-steak with exquisitely crisped skin, placed in a crunchy buttery leek-tart along with diced onions and tomatoes, and accompanied by a sauce of anise. The breast of chicken coated with roasted almonds chosen by my wife came with girolle mushrooms, a chestnut sauce, and a delectable range of tiny vegetables. Two spectacular deserts, the pinnacle of the confectionerâs art, followed: a crafty mélange of fried pineapple, passion-fruit pulp, and a mousse of rum and dark chocolate; Paris Brest --- a donut of choux pastry sliced to provide a âsandwichâ of almond and hazel-nut fourre, and a side-portion of carmel ice-cream. A trio of delectable gourmandizes concluded this feast. An important tip: if you do drive, arrange to stop outside the door and seek help with the parking; they know where, and you donât. Bon appétit.
