Spoke english, very warm friendly and accommodating, most others were local- but we were not made to feel like an unwelcomed tourist. Portions were large - American style but with French attention to quality and detail. I loved this night - we could have stayed there forever but had an engagement at Versailles for an evening concert. WELL DONE MERCI!!!!!

They serve a huge range of crepes at very reasonable prices. Good service, and a good place to go for a casual night out.

This is a pleasant French restaurant situated on the edge of Velizy Forest and I was taken here by business friends from the companyâs local Velizy office and had quite a good experience. An a-la-carte menu is available but we went for the fixed price menu which at 29Euroâs for three courses was very good for the quality and quantity of the meal we experienced. And I though the average price per head of 40Euro for our party of five for three courses, some aperitifs and a decent bottle of wine was very good value for what we received.Interestingly, when translating the more negative previous comments, the two main areas of complaint, outside those who didnât like the food, seem to be bemoaning the dated décor of the restaurant and the surliness of the staff and especially the lady who seems to run the restaurant. In these respects I can see where people are coming from as this is certainly an old-school formal dining experience and does attract a more mature clientele. And the service was also very formal without much interaction or smiles but, without trying to offend anyone, I thought they were just being typically French serving style, and the fact that they were very efficient outweighed the need of a smile for me.Whenever I visit Paris I always look forward to the food and the wine and in these respects, at the value received, I would not hesitate to return to LOree du Bois.

Three and a half years ago my wife and I had the great fortune of, completely by chance, discovering a newly opened restaurant on the edge of the old town of Versailles. We knew from the off we'd found something quite special and over the last three years its been a delight to watch a story develop of one of France's great culinary talents not just find his feet, but thrieve, gaining a michelin star in his first year and opening a sister bistro a year after that. Since our fitst visit we have since dined at either Table du 11, or the sister Bistro du 11 maybe a dozen times and on every occasion, we never fail to be impressed. Having been fortunate enough to have dined at 40+ Michelin one or two star establishments, very few can hold a candle to Table du 11. It is, in terms of both service and cuisine, head and shoulders above any other one star restaurant we have dined at and indeed superior to maybe half of the two star restaurants we have frequented. To deliver such consistency, whilst also providing no little invention is indeed a rare thing. In essence if you get the chance to dine here youd be a fool not to take it.

This restaurant is unpretentious but the quality of the food and wines is superb. The fresh dishes of the day were of a high standard and the wine suggestion with each course were great. The owner/front of house was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and all the staff were friendly and approachable. Well done!

All previous positive reviews are herewith confirmed. Exterior and interior may not look too attractive, but if you are looking for the real thing for a fair price, here is a very good place to be. Apart from enjoying their great authentic French cuisine, our mixed Mexican-Dutch group shared some good laughs with 'la patrona', who is very willing to try and bridge any language gap and making it a fun experience for all involved. Neither cheap nor expensive, very good value for money. Patrona and - cook-with-the-difficult name, thanks for a gastronomic and cheerful evening.

interesting cuisine: tasty but not copious. Sometimes a bit over-fancy. The crab ravioli (using mouli radish instead of pasta) was good, as were the cod and tuna dishes. Wines a bit expensive, although some by the glass available, including a nice Sauvignon val de Loire. Cheverny and Lirac OK but nothing special. Service a bit slow but it was Friday night, and the staff well trained.

Traditional restaurant of Crêpes and other dishes. The dish of the day is renewed regularly. The open kitchen is held by a team of experienced professional cooks, whose dexterity you can admire. Large terrace in one of the most beautiful streets of Versai
Seeking an early dinner after a fabulous 6 hour day at touring the Château Versailles we happened upon this small, friendly restaurant. We were unfamiliar with wheat pancakes (crepes) but glad to try them. Delicious! We ordered one savory wheat pancake with shrimp and one with goat cheese and caramelized onions. The fillings were fresh and beautifully prepared. With a second glass of house red wine, we enjoyed two sweet pancakes. One with bananas and one with an apple filling. The service was excellent and the food was delightful. We shall be back!
