We ate here twice during our last stay in Fayence and feel they should have much more success than the previous rather indifferent owners. The lunchtime menu (maybe dinner also) at 16.50 for entree/plat or plat/dessert inc a drink and coffee is excellent. Generous portions and well cooked. Over the two visits we've sampled excellent melon/ham, duck terrine, leg of lamb steaks, pork steaks. Good honest cooking.

This location is fantastic over looking Fayence in beautiful Provence. The owners and the staff are delightful and the food is exceptional. Would definitely recommend if you would like a memorable experience.

We had the 35 Euro Provençal menu and it was superb! They also offer a cheaper menu at lunchtime which if our experience today and at other times, is anything to go by, itâll be great. Donât be put off by itâs dated presentation. This restaurant is a little hike up the hill from the centre of town but worth it for both the food and from the viewpoint/tower immediately behind it.

Your average small restaurant in a small village in the back country of south of France. However, this one was good and affordable. The Dover Sole was good and tasty. The suggested wine was delicious.

Delicious lunch in a beautiful location with superb views. Perfect French lunch made from fresh ingredients, all very tasty. Between 3 of us, we enjoyed fried courgette flowers, steak tartare, duck & potato pie, pavlova & lemon creme brûlée. Thought it was very good value & the best lunch weâve had locally so far. Thank you.

It is in Michelin and Gault Millau. Good standard, well run, good value, significantly better than several of the restaurants you list in Fayence.
Was told about this restaurant from someone else, and I am glad they did. It is a beautiful restaurant, with an amazing staff and equally amazing food. The prices are affordable for the amount of food you get. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in that area, it is a great place to go as a couple, family or friends. I would suggest sitting outside on the terrasse obviously during the summer period

Stopped by to reserve a group booking but got a chance to stay and eat. An amazing meal from starter to main course finishing off with a sumptuous desert! We have enjoyed le France for many years on our visits there and each time is better than the last! Going back again before we leave for Ireland.highly recommended

We have a house in Fayence, are real foodies and we have never been disappointed. Sure to be a trip advisor hit.
What a fantastic meal and gorgeous setting. Itâs such a small restaurant owned by a lovely couple-madame serves and monsieur is the chef; both were lovely people too with plenty of humour. Our food was delicious. From the cold vegetable soup amuse-bouche to the chocolate brownie dessert, every mouthful was exquisite. We will most definitely return.

I love writing reviews like this! There were 40 of us in a group and the restaurant did a magnificent job of organization so that none of the normal cock-ups occurred. Everyone had pre-chosen their order (by e-mail) and the staff were equipped with cards detailing our order (by name) which they correctly placed at each place AND served the correct food to the correct person with efficiency so that we all ate warm food together!Being in the catering business I seem to have gone on a bit much about the logistics; let me add that the food was superb and the service friendly and pleasant.
