We cycled from Liverdun to Toul and whilst visiting the cathedral found this gem in the square opposite the front of the cathedral. It has a lovely terrace outside where you can look over to the amazing architecture. We only stopped for coffee and chocolate croissants but the staff were friendly, the prices reasonable and the food, coffee very good. There was more food available which looked lovely.Well worth a visit.

Wow! Every time we go there, it's the same amazing pleasure. We've been there a few time this spring and sent our guests there twice. Same fantastic culinary experience. The "menu du jour" is very affordable and already offers something exceptional.the other menus are still on th cheap side considering what you get.delicious. So many flavours. The presentation is faultless. Superb. The service is very attentive but discreet. And there's so many side dishes like the amuse bouche, the predesert, the migniardises, etc. Highly recommended!

We looked somewhere else, but there was no going back once we'd had a good look. It really is the centre of "alternative" Toul. Please don't misunderstand me - we went there with a five year old, and there were no problems. Wine and beer menu written on blackboards, appreciative comments written on the walls. I'll come here again!!

We visited with friends for a meal at lunchtime on 13.2.13. The restaurant is in the middle of an industrial estate, do not let that put you off. The interior is lovely (pictures a little interesting) the food was superb. All four of us chose the Beef Bourguignon, it was great, big on taste and filling. The service was good with each of us having the pudding and a good bottle of wine the bill was about 100 Euros.

We chose this restaurant as it was on the route we were travelling. We reserved by phone, and on arrival were acknowledged rather than greeted, and ushered to a table. No one bothered to help with coats, but hey, it was Sunday. The food was pleasant, the ambience fair, but having also walked around the town beforehand, we do not think there was much else to chose from.

We have enjoyed our meal at Rue de la Prairie. The carrot, coconut and curry soup was a real treat! The Sicilian ratatouille was a discovery, and certainly the best we have ever eaten. The dessert, a crème brûlée, was made with genuine vanilla bean and the top was caramelized and crispy.Everything is fresh from the garden and homemade. The service is efficient and the waitress is always smiling. The cook is very friendly and enjoys giving some tips about her recipes.

We returned for a second visit after really enjoying the first visit for lunch. Often the second time doesn't live up to expectations, but we enjoyed our three course lunch even more than the first time! Service is very efficient, meals are delicious and good value, and the ambience is lovely. Definitely a place to return to when visiting Toul, a lovely town on the banks of the Moselle. Special mention to the lovely maitre d.

We now welcome you to our second address on the other side of the harbor. Situed Avenue Colonel Pechot, you will find breads, pastries, sandwiches, sweet cakes, confectionery, chocolates, ice creams... On groundfloor, a tea room to eat or take a break dur
We wanted a quick lunch before visiting the wine fair along the road. This restaurant was well rated and conveniently close to the Arsenal venue. We had not booked and initially were confounded by the self service coffee shop downstairs. We followed someone who looked like she knew where she was going and went upstairs to the restaurant. It was a light and airy space looking over the marine and canal. We had not booked and were initially told they were fully booked. It was 12.15 and had several tables of clients. But they relented and gave us a table. A couple arriving immediately after us were turned away. Our good fortune and their misfortune.A well priced menu of interesting dishes for lunch. Two choices for each of three courses. The food was beautifully presented in fine dishes and was high quality, cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. What good fortune to have been given a table.Local wine by the glass gave us a benchmark for going on to the wine fair tasting. The staff were friendly and efficient and both the bread and the coffee accompanying the meal were good quality. So modestly priced for such an enjoyable meal.Delightful.

Popular lunch place near Toul. Easy access from A31 and definitely a better alternative to the regular highway fast food places!Full place at lunch time but the staff is very efficient and the service was very very good ! Kids friendly and not only because they have a dedicated menu, but also because the get served first ! very smart indeed!food was also very good, right seasoning and tasty. The menu is quite impressive with a good mix of traditional alsacien dishes, salades and pizza ! Don't miss this place if you drive by Nancy / Toul !Merci et bon appétit!

We were visiting the local Toul vineyards and called in around 11am to book a table for lunch at 13.00 as this restaurant is well rated. No problem although we were encouraged not to be later than 13.00.On our return we were quickly seated and served an amuse bouche. We went for a local Pinot noir offered by the carafe. Very tasty.Menu was unusual as it was not a set meal but two boards of mains. One of offal dishes and the other of more traditional fare. We ordered one from each. They were both well presented and piping hot. The portions were very generous and the overall result very satisfactory. Robust dishes that were good for a chilly April day.Waiter was friendly and attentive. Other customers seemed locals lunching and served to fit their time pressures. Overall a good lunch at a reasonable price.
