We had a great lunch here. On the nice terrace I had the chicken Saté, a typical Dutch meal (13 Euro). It was great and enough even if I had the smaller portion. But for a lunch everybody chooses the smaller portion as the waiter said. And he was right I was hungry but still had enough. I will include some photos later.

My husband and I visited for dinner last night and enjoyed the food. We began with an amuse-bouche which was a savoury crab profiterole, then had the Peking duck wraps which were lovely. The tournedos were OK but mine was stringy so I swapped plates with my husband whose meat was more tender, and they came with 2 kinds of potatoes plus fries. That is just too much potato. A bowl of vegetables or salad would have been better since half the plate was already mashed and gratin potatoes. The sauce on the steak was too salty as well. For dessert we had a trifle/meringue dessert which was very tasty and we also enjoyed a bottle of Rioja and then a dessert wine. They had run out of the 1988 sherry but the dessert wine they did have was nice. The service was friendly and the food was good. I would eat here again.

Located in Mercure Hotel, restaurant has a good atmosphere.Staff is really nice but often new.Menu shows limited options but OK.Food is not exceptional but really ok, even good sometimes. The same dish, from one day to another could be significantly different. It is a bit annoying.Service is terribly slow. It will take 40 minutes to get your plate!

I dined here alone on a business trip. I went for the carpaccio, duck and chocolate desert. I drank some wine and some water. I pait 67 â¬.Quality of the carpaccio was good, the duck was tasty, maybe just overcooked. Chocolate desert was to be recommanded. The water price was 5 ⬠which is highly exagerated. Water should be free when taking a 3 course meal at least.Overall, not bad for dutch cuisine.

My brother picked this restaurant for the annual family get together (minus children). The service was excellent, there was even an English menu. We were waited on by several of the staff and they were all very personable and professional. We had a variety of dishes amongst us and all but the "wild kroketten" were very tasty. The chairs were not the worst but not the most comfortable to sit in for a few hours. All together this was a very enjoyable experience.

I have dined at this restaurant twice, once in 2014 and once in May of 2017. During my most recent trip, I was on a gluten free and dairy free diet. I was part of a large group that had dinner there for a graduation party; as a result, the restaurant had prepared the same 5 course meal for everybody in our 40+ people group.I had not had a chance to inform the restaurant in advance about my dietary restrictions, so I only mentioned it to the waiter after I sat down. They said it was no problem and that the kitchen would accommodate me. I have to say that they exceeded my expectations in every single way. When they could modify a dish to make it gluten and dairy free, they did so; if that was not possible (one of the dishes was a great looking large ravioli with cream on top - hard to make that one gluten and dairy free), they provided an alternative that was just as enticing. Even my desert was out of this world.Overall, this was one of the best meals I had in a while. Fresh, creative, tasty, well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The service was impeccable. This is a restaurant where it will be a pleasure to return. I greatly appreciate the chef's efforts to not only accommodate my restrictions, but to ensure that I have a most enjoyable evening, which I certainly did.Dear Aggie,Thanks for the recommendations, i will bring the compliments over to staff in kitchen and service. Hope to see you back soon.

A very cosy place with a very friendly and informative staff. The food was excellent. They offer different varieties, boards of cheese and meat, sandwiches, sallads but also traditional main courses as tournedos. Everything was great and very beautifully plated. Good wine list with a wide variety on glass as well. Definetly a place to visit. Many thanks for your review! We're happy to hear you had a good time with us at De Burgerij. See you next time! we, my wife and I enjoyed "menu hofstede de Blaak", a not too extensive choice of very good food. It was very professionally served and both the ambiance and the location were pleasant. As usual for a Bib, the prices were very reasonable; the wine was good.

A rather wonderful dining experience that you will not forget. Not your average restaurant, and you may only visit once or a few times, but you will not forget.Great location and property, done out exceptionally well, really friendly staff and they know their wines. We enjoyed a 10 course meal, starting with a fruity dish to get your pallet sorted followed by fish, duck and other courses before the sweets.Lovely evening, great food highly recommended.
