Food and drinks were great! All menu's are in German and no English available. The host doesn't speak English however she tried her best to help us. we even hear her using google translate to communicate with us. Which we greatly appreciate. Dont let the fact that there is limited English put you off on going as the food was great, a little more Asian then fusion but was presentation was so well done and food was on point! Would I go back! For sure! I'm gluten free and she said, we can do anything on the menu...that never happens! Such a great place!

So we had reservations for eight but got everything done early so we called to see if we could come in early, wasnât a problem. We enter a little after six, we were greeted by Tim great host and RestaurantLeiter! Got our seats and explored the menu... would normally ask what the waiter would suggest but I read that Karl their cook has his own menu so i settled for âKarlâs menuâ i am happy with my choice. But there are a couple things I will bring up that are negatives only book but wonât stop Me from coming back. The waitresses are a bit lazy i say this because after my gf reminded her sheâd like her wine with dinner she also had to remind her again during and then again she had to ask one of the waiters. Thatâs total negative points on service. But the homemade mango ice tea that I had was amazing. My other negative point only goes to me NY cheesecake which had a bit of a freezer burn or refrigerator taste to it, it wasnât horrible and it took me a minute to figure it out but Iâm a fat kid i finished my cheesecake. The duck and Tonkabohne crème brûlée were on point but i think my pork belly was the best part of the entire meal. Itâs got a crispy crunch and the meat just melts in your mouth. Iâm looking forward to the next visit because Iâm pretty sure Iâll get in again except with a different desert. Oh I canât forget my egg raviolis topped with truffles homerun! Hopefully my next visit will be 5 stars! Also the food Presentation was amazing Iâm sorry I didnât take pictures my girlfriend did there but they arenât importing from my phone to this app!

Beautiful restaurant with a very nice menu. Started with the foie gros owed by the lamb. Both were excerpt although the deer starter was probably the best. Excelle t desert me u. Best service we have had in Germany.

The food is traditional saarland style. The Dibbelabbes is a must try although it is quite expensive considering the ingredients are just some basic stuff plus flour...Good spot for junk food if you love fried food...Ambience is nice and service is good. Overall perhaps better for a drink than a full on dinner. Better to go in summer where it is nicer to sit outside.

Tired of city walking, language barrier and on a limited budget - this is your place. Predictable cuisine, reasonable prices and fast service. Quickly we were able to continue our city exploration.

Went here for a lunch on a Monday. It is located at the main street in St. Ingbert, remember number 101 because you would miss it easily otherwise. You will enter a small courtyard which will give acces to the hotel and the restaurant. It was rather empty. Service was friendly and giving you the feeling of being a valued guest, just impeccable during the whole stay. With the mineral water and glass of sauvignon blanc from Languedoc they brought some bread and an amuse, this was an amazingly delicious consommé of lamb with lentils and a small cup of puff pastry with tuna, it sounds as an odd combination but it matched so well ! I started with an appetizer of grilled shrinps and coquilles saint jacques on mesclun salad (the announced green asparagus was not available). Second course was the specialty of the house, the bouillabaise, richly filled with several delicious fishes and seafood, wonderful hint of saffron. It was served with two large croutons with rouille and shaved cheese, wonderfully balanced flavours throughout, what a treat! Finished with a cup of coffee (asked for an espresso but it was a rather large cup of well-tasting coffee), served with complimentary cream of lemongrass with mousse of berries. I have tried, but I simply can't remember a better lunch ever! For me this is a place to return to, not only when being in the area but worthwhile to travel to by its own right.

Going to a 3* Michelin restaurant, expectations are high. This review relates our personal experiences this particular evening 21 July 2015, which fell dramatically short of our expectations. When we parked the car outside the nearby hotel where we were going to stay, temperature showed 34 degrees. We figured that a place like this would have air conditioning and dressed quite formally. However, this evening the dinner was served in the garden for all guests, no choice given. Itâs a beautiful garden, but much of the magic of the service setting is lost. Our amuse-bouches were served in gazing sun that was still on the table, despite the parasols. After a few hours, the temperature was quite pleasant but it was really too hot to enjoy fully during the first part. Throughout the dinner we had to fight against a wasp and a few flies, also interested in our food.We went for the full degustation menu at 195 euro. However, none of the 8 dishes were up to the standard of the promising amuses-bouches and there were no more extra dishes until the final sucreries, also quite impressive. The total amount of food was quite right in the end. Each dish was the piece of art you expect, but the tasting sensations were never beyond quite good. The meat in main course, duck breast, was a real disappointment even though it seemed cooked to perfection. I had high expectations for the first dessert, Rhabarbermüsli, but I actually didn't realize I had it until the second one came. I thought the white fluffy stuff with some berries â with just a hint of rhubarb and no crunchiness, and much too similar to the second one â was just a bonus. Red berries were a theme and many of the dishes had a quite pronounced vinegar taste. We took the wine menu, without knowing its price, and it actually turned out be less than expected at 105 euros, with good and interesting wines, but no wows here either. In total you drank enough, but I found it irritating that several times I was served less than my companion and we both less than at the neighbouring table. The relatively young personnel didnât do any real errors, but lacked in the soft speak and finesse that you expect from a restaurant of this kind. I guess the whole evening was a big challenge for them, having to run the extra steps into the garden, and it showed in the broken rhythm of our meal. Maybe we were just unlucky this evening, but what should be characteristic for a 3 star is a consistent quality. I agree with another reviewer: one star and half the price would be appropriate.
