Came here for lunch at the suggestion of a local winery owner I have known for a long time and was very happy. Not cheap but high quality and easy-going informal atmosphere. I had pigeon and my girlfriend had foie gras, both at Eur 27. Half a bottle of Gewurtstraminer from Josmeyer was eur 24. It all came to eur 86 for two, I'd say it was worth it. We did not have so much time to linger around because we had more tastings waiting for us, but this restaurant would be a pleasant environment to spend a leisurly evening. The wine list was less than unforgettable though, it could be improved with more options.

Our restaurant welcomes you in one card friendly and warm or you can feast on good small dishes home-made as at the time of our grandmother, copious and flavourful. Our smiling waitresses will present you a card(map) or you can find Alsatian specialities
The restaurant is specialized in everything that is meat, alsace specialities as he is butcher. Good portions, very good quality meat and it's just nice to see it served in such a simple environment and good service where the owner is also very present!

This restaurant may be a bit of a difficult find for someone who is not familiar with the area, but it is well worth the search. It is safely nestled in the hills of Guebwiller and can be accessed by a narrow, bumpy road not designed for those who come in sports cars.Menu has ample choice of Alsatian and general French fare. We have been to this restaurant multiple times and will be sure to return in the future. My personal favorite is the breaded trout with fries (made in the same manner as "carpes frites"...no bones and delicious). My husband is a picky eater and yet he has always found something that he's been happy with!Service is excellent - the staff are extremely friendly. Not only that but they are happy to help recommend something to suit your individual taste.A terraced outside seating area has proven to be a popular addition when the weather is fine.

Two course lunch after tasting at Dirler-Cade down the road.Traditional, local village Auberge in sleepy part of Alsace. Superb quality/price ratio for delicious, well seasoned local produce sympathetically cooked and served. Lovely, well priced wine list. Looking forward to a longer visit in future.Definitely a top recommendation if you're in this part of the region.

We enjoyed great local kitchen with only locals. Very busy on a Friday night and easy to get into conversations.Service was fast and friendly. Food just outstanding. Pure, down to earth and no nonsense. We asked for wine and had a fantastic Gewürztraminer recommended. A taste I had last time decades ago - full, rich, sweet (!) flavour - wonderful. Flammkuchen was probably the best I ever had. Thin , perfectly baked and very delicious. Big portions and fair prices. Very good country cousine !!!

We ate here on a recommendation - it was a Tuesday night but still full shortly after 1930. The design is fancy but not too posh or unwelcoming - but just warmly modern and classy. The service is good but a bit stretched when really busy. Food was great with a small menu but all of it really good. More impressive was how good the value was - 3 courses for 35euro is good for decent food, but for the dishes here it was really great. You should always book since it seemed incredibly busy but it is well worth the visit.

We have been there a couple of times after an early morning movie on Sundays. The crepes are decent and the rest of the food is actually good. The children menu is also quite nice for the price. Prices are reasonable for the portions and the quality. Service can be a bit slow sometime but the staff is very responsive when you ask. And for young kids there's a small bouncy castle indoor, which is quite fun for kids considering you most likely go there before or after 2 hours at the movies. Thanks
