I ate here 2 nights because my first dinner was so good: shaved artichoke salad with parmesan and cod with grilled asparagus, both excellently flavored. The second night was just as tasty: asparagus with thyme followed by grilled scallops. Lovely!

To long to be served. Chicken with rice was not good. Chicken cooked in water flavored like a soup (chicken soup). The other dish (2nd person) was meat which was better (had to eat small pieces to get some flavor in meal). Timing of service very bad, almost decided to leave before getting the food.

It was past the normal lunch hour and we found this restaurant ..entrance is a door above a few steps...then into a bar area with the seating area round the corner. Cosy and accommodating. The hostess invited us in...a special Lady!...made us feel comfortable. Brought menus and suggested a kiddies plate for the 3 young ones. Just ideal for them. The food was good and we will return! What a pleasant surprise and a pleasure to be there and she (the hostess) is terrific!

Weird pizza types, far from Italian standards. All 6 pizzas were doughy / soggy instead of crispy. Tasted a lot like bread / cake.No credit card - only cash payments.Sorry if our pizzas did not please you But none of our pizzas are thick pasta and we are in France so it's normal not to resemble the Italian pizzas. Your words are false !!!You totally have the right not to love but to lie is something else, our establishment makes only homemade pasta and hand-fined so ultra fine.Hope to see you again on sospel!

Happened upon this restaurant while wandering in Sospel. A lucky find indeed. Very popular with locals & Workman alike. I had a delicious ham & cheese sandwich (sounds plain, but was excellent & large) my boyfriend had the plat du jour, a steak with salad. The steak was similar to a hangar steak and very flavorful. We also ordered a plate of pomme frits. Two small pichetâs of vin. The service was great & it was a lovely sunny day to sit outside and enjoy our food.

Cosy little restaurant - very inviting. Plenty to choose from on menu everyone at the table happy with their meals. Prices were ok and service was fast. Difficult to order for the children (healthier options) but I find this is many places. Would have been perfect score if children's meal options were a little better.

We travelled by train from Nice to Sospel (there is no bus, except from Menton). The train crawled along and stopped for over 20 mins at l'Escarene. We arrived at Sospel at 14.00 hrs instead of 13.30. This restaurant had finished serving lunches, but did offer us a tuna quiche meal. Service was prompt. The quiche was served with a green salad, with an excellent balsamic vinegar dressing. Drinks were very reasonably priced, and we were grateful to get lunch at the late hour. The quiche was very good. Return trains were over 45 mins late, and the train from Nice to Golfe Juan was over 30 mins late. Our advice after 50 years of travelling to the Nice region is to avoid train travel....it is no longer reliable and is incredibly expensive.

We stopped at 2G while exploring Sospel, and had a good, generous, well-made lunch. The salade nicoise was tasty and the fish soup delicious. Service was fast, polite and efficient. Perhaps not the ultimate gastronomic experience, but just what we needed.

Walked in here without a booking on a Friday night, staff went out of their way to make a table big enough for us and very kindly helped up with the menu as we speak little French. Homely little restaurant with an authentic vibe, plenty of options available from the set menu. Every dish we received was perfect. Pricing was very good and we felt it was an excellent evening and definitely the best is Sospel and for us the best we had in the region. Thank you :)
