We enjoyed our meal in this well designed, modern French restaurant which is right in the centre of the delightful town of Revel, opposite the market square. The staff were friendly and we found the service very good. To start we shared a fantastic Charcuterie board which had a great selection of meats. The steak Tartare and chips was excellent and came with various accompaniments. The stand out dish was the Croque Monsieur and I never thought I would say that about a toasted Ham and cheese sandwich! This was one of the more expensive lunches we had whilst we were in the area but we still felt the restaurant offered good value.

Arrived at 1.45 pm for lunch for 7 people. Often our experience has been less than positive at this time in France. However, we had a fantastic warm welcome. The staff are lovely. The food was really great, large portions, well presented and very very tasty. The environment is very pleasant, clean and well cared for. Great view of the lake. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely return.
Pleasant evening - food substantial very familial. Good cheeses despite coming straight from the fridge.

We have been visiting Le Salon de Vauban, in the small Montgane Noire village of Les Cammazes, since it first opened at least twice a year. Monique the owner-chef is a kind, gentle person who loves the food she produces which is organic, low in salt & sugar - yet packed with mouthwatering flavours from the local ingredients used with the utmost care.Being creatures of habit, we normally enjoy the venison pate (the venison coming from the village of Saissac nearby) - however on this occasion we opted for the duck rillettes, served with a round courgette stuffed with rice and lentils, a green salad and a gel made from the local Montagne Noire Whiskey, just delicious. For pudding, a wonderful red fruit gateau with a raspberry sorbet - all accompanied with a rose from Chateau Mont Fin.Le Salon de Vauban is so relaxing, don't arrive expecting a quick bite to eat - savour the experience, visiting the challenge exhibition from local artisans on the mezannine, and browse Monique's boutique from local chocolates, to olive oil. We make an hour's detour just to spend time here and enjoy the wonderful food and great hospitality and can highly recommend.

Visited twice during our stay in the region and not disappointed at all. Reopening in February this year under the ownership of Manu the cuisine is simple and a tad different from the local fare. Interesting choices- the 14⬠menu du jour quite adequate Local wine list and cocktail selectionSet on the outskirts of Revel on the St Ferreol road it's easy to find with ample street parking. Would recommend

Wow! If you are visiting this region, you must book a table. The food is divine and the service excellent. I had the Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella salad for my starter which was delicious. A lovely dressing and pesto that I wish I could find to take home. We all had the Beef with Creamed Sweet Potato which was beautifully presented and absolutely mouth watering. For pudding, how could we resist the melt in the middle Chocolate Bombe? Absolutely out of this world. Our French is shameful but the waitress was very kind and patient with us and we all had a giggle about our communication skills (or lack of). We were made to feel very welcome indeed. Thank you!

Just to tell you, it hasnât changed a bit. Itâs still excellent, perhaps better than in 2013. Half bottle selection is limited, but not the full bottles. Itâs clearly the best restaurant in town, even if others have more stars. Perfect service and attention from manager Gigi and hostesses Julie and Aurelie. Donât come before 20 hours: this is a French restaurant and town, and people have dinner at a civilized hour. You can stay and talk till 2230. Just in case a group is expected, call ahead.

Visited on a Saturday evening situated between Soreze and Revel this restaurant in low season was quiet but we enjoyed a very good meal made from local ingredients. Friendly service .Lots of specialities of the region- foie gras etc- fixed menus well priced and generous servings so beware if not too hungry!! Very good wine list of local and other wines- very good prices too. Will certainly revisit

Beautiful quirky bistro stuffed full of memorabilia in a really lovely village. We visited PSM twice during our stay in the region. The set lunches are great value for money. Pork and potatoes, rabbit, cassoulet with pate or omelette to start. Interesting desserts and inexpensive wine. Place was packed both times we visited.
