Le Tour dâAuverne restaurant is located in the Chateau Fort de Sedan. Furnishings and decoration provide a relaxed atmosphere. Service is adequate and friendly. Food is nothing special.Traditional French cuisine defines its character. We came on a weekday and the restaurant was almost full, a good sign. We went for a classical course and we were not impressed. Actually the accompanied Bourgogne and the desert were tasty, starter and main course were middle-of-the-road.We hardly can recommend Le Tour dâAuverne. In case you seek average food, please go ahead, otherwise go elsewhere.

The most popular restaurant for the locals.Good standard N.French cuisine served with Abigail smile. The best Angus steaks, duck, mussels etc. Great desserts and wine list. 10 minutes from the fort. Book if you can - very popular with the locals. Ask for the mussells as a starter without frites - great mussells.Good wine list.

During a heavy thunderstorm we stopped hear for a quick coffee and some shelter and ended up staying for a couple of hours and having a pizza and pasta. It is a very local restaurant and we were the only tourists in there, the service is family orientated and friendly and the cost was about 15 euros per person including drinks and a coffe. Not a great evening venue but a good place if you are in the area for a lunchtime break.

This little local restaurant in the heart of Sedan uses a black and white decor to match up with it's chessboard name. We were referred there from the Castle Hotel as the restaurant there was full. The service was warm and efficient. They were able to cater to one of our party's tricky dietary needs by being creative with the menu. There was not a bad dish served and the scallops in a cream chestnut sauce were spectacular.

We arrived quite late for lunch by Franch stansards at about 13;30. 8 of us- 4 adults and 4 teens. Inside is cozy and traditional. Owner very friendly and polite. Set menu 10 (2 courses) or 15 euro three courses. Complimentary nibbles to atart - tapenade and salamis. Tasty. Kids had childrens menu a bargain at 6,50 euros. They had burgers and fries plus ice cream for puddings. Their burgers were excellent. Fries fresh and very himemade. We had steaks and fries and salad. Best steaks in a while! Starters were varied and ample and delicious. The menu offered a good choice for all. Overall this restaurant was a great fund. Proper homecooked traditional french and served with a smile ans great value!! Highly recommend

Just under 50⬠a head an excellent 3 course meal with two bottles of wine. Roasted Scallop stater was just right with lambs sweetbreads as main hit the button. The other 3 meals were just as good.

Toujours aussi excellent malgré des tarifs légèrement au dessus de la moyenne.Mais, le choix des très bons ingrédients justifie cette différence.Petit regret, très bruyant car le resto était plein

On a cold and windy evening one does not go wandering about in a strange town, but looks up the most recommended place. This is what we did, and were not disappointed, food was excellent, however the atmosphere was a bit lacking. It is more a place where I would go for a quick business lunch than for a romantic evening. As for the overall cost, I would call it more pricey than reasonable, but then again you may say that for all of France these days... :)
