When we were staying in the Hotel Signoret in November the restaurant, L'Atelier, was being thoroughly overhauled and the food was being served in a small temporary restaurant. When we returned in February work was complete, although there are further tweaks in the form of new crockery and various other embellishments still to come. The new restaurant is light and airy and has some interesting decorative features. The new owners are full of enthusiasm and offer a very friendly welcome to diners and residents. The food was good and the local wines are well priced. It is also one of the few hotel/restaurants in Sault to be open all year round.

This dining experience was one of the best we had while in france on several levels.  First, the location was peaceful and beautiful in the garden,  they even provided a blanket for those who got cold in the later evening.  The food was very creative and delicious and included an amuse busch, first and second courses, a cheese course, and desert followed by champagne!  We also ordered a bottle of wine.  I was surprised that the cost was no more than what we might pay for a 2-3 course dinner with wine back home.  The service was friendly and helpful.  Our server seemed to be fairly young and was still learning, but was very professional and helpful especially when we asked him if he could translate or describe some of the items in english when we were unfamiliar.  Finally, when we inquired about a taxi back to town since we had walked to the restaurant from the center of Sault and didn't want to walk back in the dark, the chef  drove us back himself.  This gesture completely blew us away!

Interesting tours for cyclers pass by here. So there are many. The terrace is nice, good view. Service friendly but stressed. We had the worst spaghetti bolognese in a long time. Other dishes looked better. The dessert and the coffee were ok.

Charmant établissement avec terrasse ombragée Cuisine soignée avec des produits locaux et de qualité
We booked lunch here based on recommendations from various friends, and we were not disappointed. The formule du jour offers excellent value at 26 euros, and changes on a regular basis. Our meal started with butternut squash velouté with toasted nuts, followed by roast lamb with risotto. We were offered a choice of 2 desserts, and the deconstructed lemon tarte I had was excellent. No complaints about the food, or the accompanying Carpentras rosé.Many visitors will have experienced Les Lavandes in summer, with the delightful outdoor terrace surrounding the fountain, in operation. Our visit was a cold November day, with the first of the winter snow on Ventoux. The interior of the restaurant is as enticing in autumn as the terrace is in summer, with a roaring log fire to banish the chill after walking round the village.Staff were friendly helpful, and attentive. Living relatively locally, we will be visiting again.

I went on a group cycling trip and this was by far one of our highlights. The lunch was amazing. I wish I had those potatoes now! It was one of the best lunches I can remember and the whole group loved everything. Absolutely wonderful food and so peaceful.I loved the little store and am enjoying my lavender and gel. Thank you so much for making our day and our trip so special.

The place we wanted to eat at was booked out (it was market day) so we ended up at Le Louvre on the square. The 23.50 euro menu was perfectly OK but not at all memorable. Service quite slow. It's a good place to sit and people watch, but next time we'll book early at the other place.

This restaurant is easily located next to the church in Place de LâEglise. We stopped here for a desert but there are savory crepes available as well. The service was OK. Not super friendly or helpful, she just took our order and that was it. The quality of the food was OK as well, but to be fair we just ordered desert. There are not a whole lot of choices to eat in Sault but overall Creperie La Moisson was just an average experience for me.

We stumbled upon Le Petit Jardin when visiting the lovely village of Sault, to see the lavender fields of Provence, unfortunately we were a bit late and most had been harvested already. Anyway this lovely find for lunch made up for the scenery not being quite as we might have hoped, still stunning even without the lavender in bloom. It's a beautiful building, with lovely views and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend and would go again.

Traveling the lavender trail, we ended up in Sault at lunch time. Walking through this nice little town, we came upon Le Provencal and were seated quickly with no reservation. We both ordered the formule (15.50 euros) and had an excellent aubergine terrine as an entree and a good leg of duck as our plat. Although seated outside on a hot day, we were comfortable with the covered exterior. Pleasant service and convivial atmosphere. A good place.
