Forget the tourist traps in town and walk 10/15 minutes from the centre to this charming brasserie set in an old mansion. Young and enthusiastic staff who speak better English than I do French. Delicious home-made food. Large terrace with slatted sun shade so you can eat outside in the garden if the weather is kind. Only quibble is that wine by the glass is expensive at 5+ ⬠per 100cl and served in ridiculously small tasting glasses. Mainly frequented by the locals which says it all.

The restaurant has a nice location in Troyes and it was very busy when we dined. Ordering is challenging since their menus are in French. After some struggling with Google translate we were given an iPad with a menu in English - would have been nice to be given that right after we asked for an English menu. Our friends ordered a selection of rillettes and they were very good. With the bread provided these could be a meal in itself. I ordered a tartine which was very big and filling; it was good. I wanted to try an andouillette but the waiter was concerned I may not like it and talked me out of it.It seemed very busy and service could be better; we enjoyed their annexe better.

Great location in old town, with a secluded terrasse. Good wine/champagne list. Good choice of menu and a la carte. My food was ok but I was expecting better based on the reviews. For instance the chocolate plate dessert was very filling and not very delicate (too much on the plate, some a bit dry), the langoustine starter was ok but too much sauce and the choux parcel tasted like it was filled with jam. My main course was excellent though.

Traditional restaurant, located just steps from Theatre de la Madeleine, next to the green small jardins.Une easy parking with parking surface Boulevard Gambetta.
This little restaurant has a modern bright feel. It lies at the edge of a park area and offers salmon tartare, foie gras (de canard), and a filet I've not had before. Toreau. This is a very firm filet full of flavour. Not the soft bendy stuff but a solid manly hunk of bull. We enjoyed the dinner, delicious, very reasonably priced and pleasantly served. We will go again. Troyes is our half way stop to the skiing.

my wife and I were in Troyes for the long weekend. I had never been before and thought the city was lovely. I looked on trip advisor for some restaurant recommendations and found the Caffe Cosi. We arrived early(ish) 7pm and weren't sure it was open at first as there was no one in there. We were assured they were open and offered the courtyard or inside. The menu is not extensive but what there was was delicious. I had snails which came in small terrines with a crusty base each and foie gras ravioli. There was a sicilian chardonnay at a very reasonable price and the service was attentive but not overly so. Was half full by time we left so maybe the people of Troyes just eat later. highly recommendDear guest, Dear Campera ,The whole CAFFE COSI team Thank you for your appreciation ; you are a real gourmet .. because foie gras ravioli and snails are very spécial dishes for foreigners !! Bravo !!Our customers usually arrive around 8 pm ( specially during the week end .) See you soon for another " gourmet experience "Thank you

Situated just at the border of Troyesâ historic center, some reviewers referred to this restaurant as a tourist trap. I couldnât disagree more. The food was really good, service fast and friendly and ... the restaurant offers a choice of (good) champagnes for les than EUR 6 per glass. Once more TAâs overall review ranking pointed me towards a great meal.

We found this place unpretentious while serving excellent French food. We went for the fancy set menu and were very happy with all the dishes. A lot of care is put into the food and the result is delicious! The decor and presentation of the food could do with some changes, but they don't detract from the quality of what you're served. The service was excellent and the chef made sure to check in on the customers. Thoroughly enjoyed the pate, the filet mignon, the excellent local cheeses and sumptuous deserts!!

Restaurant, Brasserie, Bar, Terrasse et Club à Troyes - Cuisine et Pâtisserie maison, produits frais, locaux et de saison - Cocktails et Vins -
Four of us arrived after a rather long search for somewhere to eat, and, though we didn't have reservations, they managed to fit us in and we were shown to a table. Service was second to none, and the food was a little lacking/acceptable but nothing too major to call out as an issue. All in all, a good experience.
