Sopar is a quality products restaurant that offers traditional french and savoyarde cuisine in a modern, mountain inspired decoration. We are proud to offer more than 50 wine references including a great selection of regional wines. Part of our dishes and
I LOVE Sopar. This restaurant a little bit outside the center of La Toussuire was created by 2 friends who wanted 'something different' form the traditional restaurants in de Savoie villages. The interior is very loungy with a great visible wine cellar and the music is modern. Both guys are super friendly and very attentive to what you want. You always get a small appetizer before the meal, which is great while you are drinking your 'aperitif'. Imagine being able to order a Gin-Tonic in the Savoie, which is not a Gordon's gin :-) The only improvement would be that they should serve another kind of tonic than traditional Schweppes tonic. The first time we went we ate lamb and it was remarkably prepared. The meat fell from the bone. Everyday they also another desert and it is superb. We also went the second time to eat a more traditional dish, ie a Cheese fondue and a raclette (I guess they have to do it as customers want it). Well, even that was a completely delightful and different experience form the traditional restaurants at the 'front de neige'. The meat we received was high quality, the cheese was high quality and even the little pieces of bread were exquisite.I should also not forget to talk about the wine. It is not cheap but is it exceptionally good. They have a lot of wine from the Savoie but definitely not those 5 euro wines where you get a headache the following day. The waiter knew exactly what to match with our food and he never took the most expensive wine.I really recommend this restaurant to all those who want to try something different and with a great atmosphere, incredible food and super owners. We will go back when are in La Toussuire. PS: you can also go with kids as they have a kids menu ;-))Dear Knarf,Thank you so much for your fantastic review!!! We are proud of our products and wine selection and delighted that you appreciated it.We are really involved in our guests satisfaction so we are MORE THAN HAPPY you enjoyed your meals in our restaurant. Hope to see you back!

On a cold rainy day where I ventured on a roadtrip through the alps, I stopped there for lunch with a colleague. Was really quiet, only one other customer. Hostess/Server was really nice (owner?), food was good (had the tartiflette). Asked for dessert recommendations and we were both pleased. May not be considered a 5* gastronomical restaurant but price was more than reasonable, portion were generous, food was great and local. Difficult to ask for more. Worth a solid 4 out of 5.

I just came back from my trip to St sorlin, and I would almost say that this restaurant was the highlight of my trip. I went three times in a week. The servers were lovely and extremely accommodating, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The chef did a number of special requests for the vegetarian in our group, and the meat dishes the rest of us had were the best I have seen. I love to see a family run establishment, mother, two sons, and one of the sons girlfriend. All of whom came out to have a chat with us at one point or other. The pastry chef even going so far as to make us a 1kg tub of the best salted caramel I have ever laid eyes upon. I can not recommend Les Neiges any more, and if you are in the area, do drop in, you won't regret it.

Restaurant pizzeria, terrasse panoramique vue sur les aiguilles d'Arves Pizza, pâtes, burger , plats du jour...
There were 3 on our trip and this was the restaurant we ate in the most. They have a good selection and I can recommend the chicken kebab and creme brulee. The beer is reasonably priced too.

Restaurant, pizzéria et spécialités savoyardes. Cuisine faite maison. Terrasse plein sud. Pizzas au feu de bois sur place oú à emporter.
Chez Nath is a nice local restaurants that amongst others serves Galette which is a local wholemeal crepe. I had the Tonette which was quite blend and not very appetising. Others in my group had better dishes though. We were there is the summer and there were too many flies inside the restaurant. The staff was friendly and it may be that the kitchen just had a bit of an off day.

Lovely restaurant with great views over the surrounding countryside and ski slopes. We arrived late for lunch bit the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The foie gras was excellent, served with toasted pain d'epice (which our French friend thought shouldn't have been toasted though I liked it) but the piece de boucher (beef) was tough. Other dishes also varied in quality and the heating failed. The centrepiece log fire remained unlit so it became a touch chilly.
