Whilst staying at the Ibis Styles and that not having an evening restaurant we were offered three discount vouchers (15%) to be used at either Leon,La Boucherie or Courtepaille on Monday 11th. My wife and I decided on Courtepaille and enjoyed our meal and attentive service. To start I had the Goat Cheese Terrine with Tomato Confit â¬5.90 (very good) and followed with the Nordic Salad::cos lettuce, grilled salmon, diced smoked salmon, tzatziki, tomato Confit and balsamic cream â¬16.70 (good) and for my wife 400g Cote de boeuf rib â¬23.90 with baked potato ( she thoroughly enjoyed it, flavour and cooked to perfection of rare to medium). To accompany our meal we had a large glass of Ventoux and Blanc â¬5.90 each. Their service was attentive, helpful and friendly and there is no service charge.

We arrived quite late (21.00) and decided to eat in the hotel rather than get back in the car. Noone was interested in seating us for ages. We got seats eventually and one of our party ordered a starter, the others only main courses. Two main courses were wrong, but we couldn't make ourselves understood. Also the mains arrived the same time as the starter??? Anyway. We ordered desserts which were most disappointing but at that stage no server was to be seen, very expensive for such a poor meal.

Just had an excellent meal. It's just up the road from Bourges Novotel. The food is traditional without being twee, and the staff are very friendly. We had pickled fish and mussels to start, followed by lovely duck confit and an apricot upside down cheesecake for afters. All the food was very tasty and felt very authentic. We would highly recommend this restaurant to any English or French in the area!

This restaurant has a prix fixe menu for 17E that includes 3 courses. I had a delicious seafood salad appetizer. My husband had the fish soup (regional dish) which, when salt was added, was tasty with added garlic-rubbed croutons and grated cheese. There was enough for both of us to enjoy. My seafood salad appetizer was copious, tasty, very fresh. We both enjoyed the Daurade, grilled and served with salad and potatoes. Yummy and sweet because the fish was fresh. We also ordered charcuterie (we had just arrived and HAD TO TRY IT), but it was way too much food. We shared regional cheese with fig jam and a creme caramel. Both delicious. This was, by French standards, a very good deal! The service was impeccable.

The reviews here have been incredibly lukewarm but this place is a delight. Clean bright friendly, fabulous sea view from our garden 'cabanas', lovely pool, great breakfast, great pool bar/restaurant if you want to stay put but an easy attractive walk to a really classy harbour/marina teeming with bars and restaurants . Definitely somewhere to come back to ...
