Walked in this evening on spec, and got a lovely table outside. We all went for pizza - with one opting for the half pizza / half salad option ( what a great idea!!) everyone lived their pizza. Fresh ingredients and a perfectly crisp thin base. We opted for a scoop of ice cream each in a cone to take away and wander around beautiful Rochefort-en-terre as we ate! Lovely service, super clean toilets ( always a good sign!) and lovely surroundings - big thumbs up!

On a Monday night when it looked like we might have to go hungry in Rochefort en Terre, this little bar was opened with a selection of platters, a couple of desserts and a good selection of wine. Most of the items were also for sale in the delicatessen fronting the cafe. The music was superb, the welcome very friendly and the food good and good value. What's not to like!!

A dreary Monday in late autumn, and this friendly hostelry was packed. The table in front of the door was momentarily cold when the door opened, but otherwise the place was fine. We enjoyed our starter, a "clafoutis de Maroilles," sort of a cheese flan with salad. I enjoyed my sausage with carmelised onions; my wife her duck "confit" less (it was a bit burnt). Toilets could do with an overhaul.

We just happened to turn left down this street. We had a quick chat with the owners and came back later. It's only a small place but they catered for us (8). Though the menu was not extensive, all the choices were good and all home made. We were all very impressed.

We visited on a Sunday evening for dinner when most places are closed. But, the owner and partner were cooking and welcomed us. We chose to sit outside as it was a lovely cozy terrace on a small street. Beautiful and charming village town that no one should miss if traveling in this area. The food was nicely presented and tasted great. We would recommend for a simple and quick meal

A previous review I wrote spoke highly of this restaurant and how it has been so very special for us as a family over the last 20 years or so, a recent visit suggests that that magic has disappeared. Although on the surface everything front of house is as it always has been, the same two women running things with quiet efficiency the same cannot be said about either the menu or its execution. The menu is getting a bit pricey for what is on offer and when the dishes do arrive all the usual flair and elegance of presentation has been dispensed with. The most shocking thing is that the presentation goes to reinforce the very average nature of the produce and the skills in cooking. As this is a trajectory that is very much downward I doubt very much if we will return, a real shame but maybe 20 years of or so of top quality is more than one can expect.

We had just had a long stroll around Rochefort en terre and La Terrasse was just what we needed! A bustling little creperie, which served fast food french style...the most delicious galettes and scrumptious local cider served in bolles ( quite like wide mugs) considering the location it was very reasonable...and a beautifully clean toilet! Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant, very friendly staff, good service and great food. We are vegetarians so opted for the veggie burger which was excellent. Pizza options for us also looked good. Cafe gourmet dessert (a little bit of everything and a coffee) was excellent. Stopped by for a coffee next morning, sat outside in the sunshine. Will definitely return again when nearby.

Enjoyed this stop in a very picturesque village in Brittany. My wife and I each had a waffle entree for lunch (mine with cheese and pears, hers with cheese and caramelized apples) and they were fantastic. We threw caution to the wind and split a dessert waffle, with lemon curd and sorbet, and it was equally good.
