Right around the corner from the casino is this great pizza shop. Our party of three enjoyed delicious pizza with wine for the price of one entree at all the other nearby places. The waiters were delightful. So happy to find this place.

I can't say enough about our experience here.... thefood was amazing ... the wine was suggested by the staff and was the perfect compliment to our meal. I had fuax gras and filet ... everything was cooked perfectly and wasdelicious. The staff were top notch and made us feel as if we were regular customers who lived just down the street. The owner, Christian, introduced himself and was very accomodating of my terrible french. The prices for the quality and level of service were low, I would expect to pay mutch more for these kind of standards.I will definitely be back !!

Restaurant situe au cÅur du village provencal de Besse sur Issole. Nous proposons une cuisine a l'ardoise elaboree avec des produits frais qui change au fil des saisons. Terrasse ensoleillee face a la fontaine du village.
The Terrasse is now under new ownership and the new young couple running La Terrasse have created an eating experience that clearly beats anything on offer locally. The Turbot main course is sublime and would sit comfortably in a Michelin starred restaurant. The food at La Terrasse is truly excellent and provides great value for money. Finally, the house white wine is one of the best whites I have experienced anywhere in Provence. Thanks for your words! They encourage us a lot. We are very happy that you spend some good time in oour restaurant with our food and our service. I hope find some turbot soon ;) See you soon in Besse.Best regardsGabriela and Juan

Over the course of the Summer we used the Restaurant for lunch on several occasions accompanied by friends and relatives in various groups between four and ten persons. Generally there were at least two but up to four children with us.The daily 'Menu midi' at â¬12.00 was always varied and often came with some surprise dishes as it was not quite what one was expecting. The food was always well cooked and presented and the Staff were quite accommodating when it came to the children. Whilst there is a small choice of what is offered for the children, the chef would prepare special lunches for them providing you asked and he had the ingredients.Local Rose or White wine is served at â¬9.00 a liter and there is a good selection of soft drinks but notably, no apple juice for the kids. This newly built and opened Restaurant is complete internally but certain works need to be completed to the terrace area. The decor is very pleasant and the ambiance is good. The staff are very friendly and most speak limited English. They Staff also have a sense of humor. When I asked if I could have a 'Carte de Fidelite', they saw they funny side and provided complimentary Cognacs by way of a gesture! This Restaurant has come as a breath of fresh air to Gareoult, and I welcome them to our village.

We used this restaurant 3 times this summer and on each visit the Menus were interesting and the food was good. The Restaurant is quite informal with an ambiance one could best describe as Bistro. The staff are helpful and friendly and this is a place that we will return to.The only slightly negative aspect is that it's location is somewhat industrial.

We took a large group of friends from Britain and America here for dinner, and it was AMAZING. I had been in a few times, and always found the food delicious, and the service great. It truly feels like an independent and welcoming place where the staff - I should say the owners - care about the food and their customers. Each time we have come to the place, they have been attentive to our needs; even letting the restaurant open well into the night, so we could enjoy the experience as long as we could. And it is the only reason, I go out of my way and I come back to this place each time I travel to the south of France. Everything tastes so fresh, and the cooking is so tantalizing! A gem!!We always are so well looked after; Laurence even gave us complimentary moreish deserts on our way out, last time we visited. Heavenly sweet dough balls dipped in hot chocolate. We almost all sat straight back down again! I think this place is amazing, and if you are visiting this beautiful part of South of France and like going off the beaten tracks, get yourself down there. You wonât be disappointed; of leave hungry (Did I mention the portion size!!!)Thank you, guys for looking after us and our European and American friends when we come to visit :)I invite people with taste and a proper palate to join me and support the local restaurants scene and the local community and writing about your 'objective' & genuine experience about L'Antidote:https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews

If you like what is good, enjoy an exceptional place. La Bastide Enchantée is more than a restaurant. It is a gourmet haven 20 minutes from Hyères and Toulon. Here, the true Provencal cuisine is in the spotlight every day, on the edge of the Gapeau. And c
We have used this Restaurant over a period of about four years and each time we have been more than satisfied which is why we keep going back !We went on the third of August as a party of eight which included two young children. It was a hot sunny day and we sat outside on the terrace. We had just finished the entree when the black rain clouds appeared. Within a few minutes there was a storm and the rain was very heavy. Everybody who was eating on the terrace area ran inside for shelter and the staff quickly found tables for them. We were quickly seated at a large round table and within five minutes everyone was seated and service restarted. We were all impressed with the professional manner that the staff coped with the problem. We had 5 menu Bastide @ â¬15.50, 1 menu Saison @ â¬26.5 and 2 menu enfant @ â¬9.50. Everyone was more than pleased with their choices. The wines are an acceptable price but our party consumed quite a lot and the wines which accounted for around 33% of our total bill of â¬216.00.The setting is pleasant with easy parking and the staff are friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed if you visit this Restaurant.
