We were 6 adults and one 3 year old.The family were extremely welcoming and warm. They gave as much attention to our granddaughter as the adults. We all had the lunchtime fixed menu, which was really enjoyable, and terrific value. We will be back,to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and enjoyable food.

We sat outside this restaurant and watched the world go by and eating tapas as it should be, a few dishes at a time through the night. The staff were quiet happy for us to do this and we had some lovely food. The only downside was the mussels which were bitter Iâm guessing from burnt garlic and the lovely croquettes that came with an almost inedible aioli, It seemed more like mashed garlic and was extremely bitter. Would have been 5* if not for these issues.Lovely wine too.

This is an upmarket beach bar serving high quality fish and other food. Unfortunately it is situated within an area of depressing concrete high rises overlooking miles of beach. You cannot drive past but there is plenty of parking behind the high rises and then you will have to find your way to the beach promenade. The landmark to look for is a large ship set into the promenade itself - bizarre! There are tables on an upper floor overlooking the sea and downstairs. I got the impression that all the upper tables had been booked by local residents so remember this if you telephone to reserve a table. The cooking is simple French at its best and in particular the Calamars Plancha are fantastic and some of the best I had tried. Meli Melo (platter of oysters and prawns served on ice) was also most impressive. Staff are friendly and helpful with the bill for lunch, including wine and coffee, coming to â¬47. Worth a detour to eat and of course you can also spend your day on the beach.

Spotted whilst driving past, popped in for a snack but ended up having steak! Spotlessly clean, fast friendly service and dog friendly a big plus. Relaxed dining, good selection of burgers, fixed price menu options too. Plenty of parking at the side. Recommend, I was eating alone and felt welcomed and comfortable.

Wonderful menu - French cuisine served in the rustic setting on the beach. The dining highlight of a stay in Le Barcares is at La Pearla. Great fish and meat dishes. Cocktail bar, candle lit in a Cuban style setting. Open in high season to end Sept.
Great location and lovely food spoilt by the rude and incompetent staff. After waiting 20 mind to see a menu and a further 15 mins to order food very rude waitress then informed us we should not be sitting at the table as it had been reserved(no sign of this) we then had to go upto the bar on 5 separate occasions throughout the meal to request things that we had ordered but the staff failed to serve. I have never had to request to pay 3 times in a restaurant before! The food was the one good thing however with really tasty burger and Tuna steak was delicious however this does not out way the disgusting service! Man behind bar was pleasant and they should move him to front if house instead of the rude lady that acts as a dictator currently occupying that position. Never had a worse experience anywhere in the world. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Looks like a beach bar, just shows how deceptive appearances can be. Welcoming staff and friendly service. A gem on the beach, literally. Good varied menu with the emphasis on seafood, naturally. However i sampled probably the biggest entrecote steak I've ever seen, barely fitting onto the plate. Superbly cooked. Food reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

Despite being very busy (understandably), the service was rapid, very friendly and even in English if I needed it. Food was good portions at good prices, no rip off here despite waterfront position. The seafood was fresh and the pizzas well covered and huge. Thoroughly recommend.

A kitchen with fresh quality products made by a craftsman A passion, a sharing Gourmet Dessert The property does not speak English
Petite salle de restauration pour que tous les clients soient soignés comme des rois. Peu de place y compris en terrasse mais quel plaisir de déguster ce qui est proposé. Mémorable, goûteux, quel plaisir des papilles.

The friendliness of staff is something to remember! It is not difficult to find good crepes in France but it is unfortunately more difficult to meet such friendly people speaking good English and ready to help. Nice experience to remember.

Tasting of oysters, mussels, clams, sea urchins. Sale of fish from morning fishing (according to arrival)
We had been told about this place but words cannot describe it sufficiently. There are at least 20 restaurants all selling Seafood with Oysters and Muscles their specialty. We chose Le Mas Bleu and was not disappointed. We had a huge serving of large oysters and muscles. We were surprised that the muscles were served raw, but it being a first we tried them and my wife even said she enjoyed them more than the oysters. The raw nature of this place is amazing, little restaurants out front of the Oyster Farmers sheds. You can eat there or buy all you want to take home. Cheap is the word especially to take away. We paid 2 Euro for a kilos of muscles. If you love seafood and especially if you love OYSTERS don't miss this sensational place.
