We stopped for a bite to eat on a Monday lunchtime in September. This place is extremely popular with locals based on how busy it was, but we were able to get a table on their sheltered terrace without having to wait. The restaurant is both modern and chic in style. Service was extremely polite and friendly, with perfect English spoken. Even the menu (a glossy paper brochure, in the style of a newspaper supplement) was classy, with a good selection of dishes. Our main courses, Fish and Chips, and the Chicken Skewer in Satay sauce, were both delicious, and both a very acceptable portion size. The ice cream (good selection of flavours) was delicious. This would have been a lovely spot to relax all afternoon enjoying the lovely view of the harbour and beach. The outside deckchair area could be mistaken for being for a luxury Indian Ocean resort.Perhaps a little more expensive than some of the other beach cafes, but the quality of this venue makes it good value and definitely worth a visit.Thank you for your lovely comments. We are happy to have provided you with a memorable lunchtime experience.Best regards,Nina's team

In this restaurant You always feel welcomed. Waiters are nice and very friendly. My weak point is that for 3 years I have always selected Raclette and not even tried other choises. Since the first time I loved Raclette served with salad, potatoes and charcutteries. Also the wines have always been perfect. I´ll keep coming back and maybe some day I will give Fondue a change....

My favourite eatery in Pornichet. A lovely little cafe serving simple but delicious galettes (savoury crepes) and sweet crepes with all the ingredients freshly prepared and home made. Friendly service too. Several vegetarian options.

From cocktails to deserts, you will get a succession of wonderfull dishes. If you like kipirina, dont miss the one on offer here.On the menu as well, a superb pork a la plancha that will literally melt in your mouth If you still have a bit of room left, go for the massive coupe de la plage, a full of red fruits sorbet ice cream. Can't wait to go back.

This is a pleasant, nicely decorated restaurant that also has an outside seating, covered and uncovered, all with views over the marina. Staff and service were good. The menu looked very interesting and there were more than a few dishes that I would love to have tried. I chose the duck on a skewer. The waiter asked how I would like it cooked and I told him still pink in the middle. Unfortunately when it came it was overdone for me with no evidence of any pink bits at all. Nevertheless it was still a nice tasty dish with a variety of different accompaniments all of which were better than I expected. My crewmate had the mussels which he reported as very good and I could see that they were well cooked and not overdone.I would recommend this place and despite the duck being overcooked I would go back and give it another try. Had the duck been cooked as I had ordered I would have given this place a very good rating but I can't bring myself to do it.

Some of the best galettes ever! And the crepes are very good too. The only reason this doesn't get the fifth star is because the service is very slow due to the tiny kitchen. If you aren't pushed for time, this place is really worth visiting!Thank you Katharine.I'd just say one thing: if you are pushed for time, just tell us as I take the order, we can handle priorities easily.Hope to see you soon

Having travelled extensively in France and eaten at many top rated establishments we have to say this small restaurant is amazing. Only husband in the kitchen, wife front of house, the service is managed with care & attention. It will never be fast because that's not the point. It's about the fabulous food. Fish of the day Hake to die for. If you want plat de fruit de mer it's 24 hour order in advance so that everything is fresh from daily supplier. AMAZING THANK YOU

We truly enjoyed our meal. We were a couple with 3 children and one grandfather. We had the set daily meal, the salad was fresh and very tasty, the fish wonderful and the porcete very traditional. The pennecotta was the best I've had. The children's menu was very reasonable, typical in this part of France. The wait staff was friendly and spoke English and helped us with our rather poor French. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Le Quartier Maître
Coquettish location, low music, few tables, good service. We had octopus salad, oeuf cocotte, dorada file with vegetables, duck with vegetables (maigret canard), desert with lemon glace, meringue and cheese. The white wine was well assorted with the food.Very tasty food and quite big portions.Highly recommended.
