This is certainly one of our favourite restaurant and it always feels like such a special occasion as it is such a treat! The food is delicious and you can budget for a meal here as there is a fixed price BUT the wine is included in the price, either red and or white wine with sparkling wine for an aperitif! So it is a good idea to accept the offer of transport to and from your hotel! There are some extra touches that also adds to the occasion not to mention the excellent service provided by the staff! Not to mention that it is located on the promenade so you have a good view of the sea and the sun setting if you gave an early booking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!Dear TripAdvisor member,Thank you very much indeed for your wonderful review. We ate here recently and opted for the â¬13.50 evening meal offer which included an excellent soup or salad, steak with sautéed potatoes and dessert and coffee. Everything was nicely presented and well executed with fresh ingredients and great flavours along with a pleasant host who had a nice sense of humour. Cocktails & wine were also good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

ILHAKAFFE â Restaurant & Lounge Bar. It's a new space lying by the noble zone of Funchal (Estrada Monumental), being excellence and innovative in what we do are our main concerns. ILHAKAFFE combines a concept restaurant and a cocktail bar under the same r
This restaurant was a short walk from our hotel. What a little gem for a reasonably priced evening out. Concept menu with drinks for â¬23. So good we ate here twice. Favourite dishes crispy prawns starter and cod main. Service was good and friendly. Owner also serving drinks and food. Only thing which could be improved is the refilling of glasses of water and wine which we had to ask for. ( other places in funchal do this automatically but they have been doing it for years.)
