We visited here on a recommendation from our B&B and were not disappointed. It's a spacious and light restaurant, with seating upstairs as well.We chose from the set menu, with my wife having the goat's cheese salad and myself picking the rabbit and chicken terrine for starters, both of which were plentiful and lovely. We both picked the the duck breast for the mains and they were cooked to perfection.Bizarrely we had to choose dessert when we ordered at the beginning, so went for cheese as a safe option, not knowing what we would feel like after. This was the only downside as other guests desserts looked great! We had a bottle of wine with the meal and finished of with coffee and Cointreau. We were served by a little dynamo with red hair, who had an impish sense of fun and seemed to be doing everything except cooking!A really nice little restaurant and worth a meal here. Thank you for this comment looking forward to seeing you again.

Crêperie - Pizzeria - Grill - Cuisine française dans le vieux Ploërmel (Morbihan 56800)
Perhaps we were unlucky? The young waitress was absolutely excellent and with our limited ability to speak French gave us lots of time and advice. The Menu de jour was not for us (tripe) so I opted for the Moules. More expensive than normal at 12.5 euro. They were not good or too numerous! They were more than over done in fact, shrunken many partly open and the hinges fell apart.. Had I been in an English resturant I would have complained. In honesty the worst I have tasted in France. My wife's meal was very fine.

We chose the restaurant simply because it was the closest after parking the car - and what a fortunate choice! The restaurant is clean, bright and well decorated, tardis like we were shown to a table at the back of the restaurant on the terrace overlooking a small courtyard garden. The staff are friendly and attentive and (always a telling feature) the loos are immaculate. Our meals were delicious, one pizza and three salads. We also had a carafe of house rose, a bottle of San Pelegrino and four coffees - total bill 57â¬. We were given a dish of peanuts whilst waiting for our food (which actually arrived very quickly) and a basket of bread with the meal. We will definitely return.

Favoured by locals and an excellent blend of restaurant, bar and coffee house.
This lovely restaurant in the old part of Ploermel has a sort of medieval atmosphere with friendly service and nice variety of items on the menu. We stopped by at lunch time and the place was full of locals. The prices were very reasonable and our pizza excellent.

We have visited a few times over the years and find the staff pleasant and the pizzas good - nothing wonderfully fantastic about the place, good service and a crisp pizza is all we ask and that's what the Farigoule delivers. Decor OK, seems clean and there are always other customers on weekday evenings out of season so other people must like it too.

Très bel accueil dans ce restaurant à la déco un peu passée mais bien entretenue. Les plats sont d'excellentes factures et goutus même si ca reste très classique...le rapport qualité/prix est excellent...une bonne adresse.

Lunch today was a goats cheese and apple buckwheat pancake, followed by a maple syrup and vanilla ice-cream sweet pancake. Heaven.Added to this excellent service and a wonderful location..who could ask for more?
