We visited this Dutch owned restaurant by chance,(there are very few restaurants in this area of France)open in the month of September. We were very disappointed by the quality ,and quantity of food prepared by the Dutch husband and wife couple. We were surprised how little food We were given,as the menu looked quite impressive,by the amount of courses on offer !The courses were so small they could all be put on a small dinner plate! The main course was fish, very bland and small portion. The dessert was the same small portion that looked like a "children's dolls house party food".We asked for the wine list after asking for the usual small jugs of wine, we were told they only served the wine by glass (more expensive as)" Mark up"on bottles of wine from local domain were doubled!!)This restaurant is a tourist trap,as not many restaurants around. The waitress,(wife of chef) was dishing out food to customers as if she hated her job.!!I would not recommend this restaurant.Mrs. Williams we are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience in our establishment. However, following your review, we have called you twice in order to discuss your complaint and each time you just hung up on us. Anyway, when we look at all the other reviews you give to restaurants, we can see you complaining and just completely downtalking 7 other restaurants out of the 8 that you reviewed, so we come to the conclusion that the problem probably doesn't lay with us.

The terrace of this restaurant has a lovely view of the river Lot. This makes for an ideal setting for lunch or dinner. The food is of good quality but nothing too adventurous or particularly exciting. It is a traditional menu which is not particularly extensive menu, although the fish options are very good. For families it is worth noting that the options for younger children are fairly limited.

Run to this very elegant place for an unforgettable dinner ,the first menu is just at 55 euros . I choosed the amazing foie gras as a starter but it was the Turbot with artichokes ,asparagus and caviar which made this dinner unforgettable together with the pre-dessert a yogurt sherbet with grenades and a strawberry sauce :a formidable success as a flavor .The service by Christian was perfect.Jasmin restaurant is of great great value and has a very elegant decor

Family of six out for lunch, never easy to sit us, but this restaurant accommodated us well. Plat du jour was chicken curry, excellent flavours. Wife has prawns and salmon curry from the main menu, again excellent. Children had the steak hache. Raspberry meringueâs and ice creams for the kids for pudding. Excellent service. Can not fault.

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a hot, sticky day, attracted by the vue panoramique. Inside, we went through the internal dining room to the shaded terrace at the rear, which did indeed have a terrific outlook. The menu overall seemed a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices but the Menu de Jour at 15 euros looked like a potential bargain, so worth a go. There were two choices of each of starter, main course and dessert that all looked interesting, to order all three courses at the outset, as usual. Our party of four had all the items between us and they were all were delicious with very ample sized servings. The accompanying wine was reasonably priced and very acceptable. Staffing was minimal, a waitress and an apprentice server lad, but both were efficient and friendly and there were no delays. One of our best eating experiences.

What a great location for a relaxing lunch, great host and really good food.Salad with Roquefort cheese was amazing, really good dressing. Spaghetti carbonara was one of the best I have tasted. The chef is excellent.Recommend booking as it is in demand for a good reason.
