Visited Bootsma recently on a short visit to Arnhem. Outside the main city, but worth a visit. It was evening when we arrived and so difficult to assess the surroundings completely, but a village type feel to the area. We had not booked a table, but this was no problem. The place seemed to be popular with locals and there was a farewell gathering, but this did not detract from our evening. We received a nice welcome and were quickly shown to a table. Nice ambience and decor and the staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. Being gluten free was not an issue and they checked with the kitchen to be certain that what I had requested would be suitable. The food was excellent. For two people with 2 glasses of wine, 2 mains, 2 deserts and 1 espresso it was 59.90 euros.

We are regular visitors to Arnhem and have tried many of the restaurants there, so when a Dutchman recommended Cuisson as a new restaurant with excellent quality we thought we would give it a go. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent. We took the Chef's 3 course surprise and the wonderful presentation of the food was matched by the quality of the ingredients and the taste. The chef came to show us the pieces of meat (duck breast for me) and fish (for my wife) before he cooked it to ask if we were happy with it! I think this is the finest dining we have had in all our stays in Arnhem.

An early dinner with business colleagues, although the menu looked interesting we went with the starter/main/dessert of the day recommended by the waiter. Perfect choice, interesting langoustine with coffee sauce, excellent wild pig and perfect brownie dessert, the problem of choice removed with excellent service! A real pleasure

Was here Saturday with group of friends. Food was really good. I loved the attentive yet relaxed and humorous waiters. They kept up a high level of professionalism whilst not being as stuffy as you sometimes find in other top quality restaurants. The wines to accompany the dinner were good: not always exactly my taste but thatâs why we went for the wine accompaniment- to try something different. We were seated in a lovely cosy but not stuffy room with tasteful deco. Really enjoyed our evening here.

Struggling to find a nice place to dine for a reasonable price in Arnhem, we ended up here. We were ok with the final outcome. Starter, vitello tonato was very good. Main, lamb stew, was a bit disappointing in overal presentation and composition, though satisfactory in taste. Desert was very much ok. Service is friendly and attentive. Setting a bit like a full service restaurant. Overall score 4-5 out of 5. So make it a 5.
