Young couple behind the stove serving traditional dishes and local specialties. Two different maincourses every day, one vegetarian, the other slowfood. Open hearth, apparent stones and vault, beautifull private terasse, ideal for romantic dinner. Cyclist
We happened upon Noyers on our first day in France. Picked the La Vielle Tour since there were people inside. (The rest of the town was like a ghost town). The owner spoke English, so helped us with the menu and also answered questions such as tipping etiquette etc. We ordered off the blackboard for the daily specials and enjoyed the Pastilla au crudités, poultry, and dried fruits on a bed of lightly dressed greens and a bowl of cream of asparagus soup, runny but delicious flavor. Hubby had the Beef Bourguignon with pasta (taglioni aux truffles) and vegetables. My plat (main course) was the Veal with mushrooms, yummy vegetables and capers. Veal was tough but the sauce and the rest was wonderful. We finished with an espresso and hit the road. Came to 46 Euros + $4 tip so $50E or about $56.00USD. Interestingly we felt Noyers was very obscure but heard from some friends who had also eaten at the same restaurant and had also enjoyed the owner/manager/wait person very much. Would be lovely in the warm weather with outside seating.

Enjoyed dinner at Les Granges on a rainy summer evening and quite enjoyed it. I had the two course menu, opting for the quiche lorraine (wonderfully light crust, excellent flavor) and cheese selection for dessert, with a half liter of Chablis. Food was excellent and so was the service, especially considering that one waitress was handling all of the tables, including a large family of Icelanders who needed quite a bit of help with translations.

My friend and I stopped at this little restaurant in Noyers for lunch on our drive from Paris to Burgundy. The place is adorable and has an enormous fireplace in the middle of the room. It is a family run place. When we walked in the fireplace was blazing. There was good mix of locals and a few tourists. The lunch was served buffet style and was plentiful. There were a lot of charcuterie dishes for appetizers and I believe two main dishes available -- one duck and one chicken. My only complaint is that our server was a bit gruff toward us I suppose because we were tourists. However, we met a charming young local couple who, after lunch, invited us to join them on the patio for a glass of wine which made up for the luke warm service. I would definitely go back since it is a unique, authentic setting with pretty good food.

Located in charming Noyers, we had a great meal here. The menu is short, but includes excellent burgers. The service was good humoured and attentive

We visited this restaurant while staying in this fantastic auberge. Unlike the auberge the service and staff in the restaurant Were not as attentive as they should have been The food was good. Reasonably priced. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday night and I felt we had no member of staff looking after our table at all. There was a table to the side of us that obviously had a special guest that was getting most of the staffs attention. Amongst other things at one stage a cheese board was PLonked! On our table with no knives, breads plates or explanation. After about 5 mins of trying to get someone attention I finally got a waiter to come to the table to give us Plates knives etc and explain about the cheese board. Very disappointing considering how amazing the auberge is. Maybe we just had a bad night!Thank you Mrs MURPHY for this review, or these reviews because youtook time to let one on the Restaurant and one on the AubergeYou were satisfied with the Hôtel but we had to be very carfeul with you (no air conditioning in the rooms, no mosquitos outside if you open the windows ...), concerning the restaurant you have been disapointed and you talk about you..You were 4 persons that means 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts or cheese and you tell just what was wrong, the plate of cheese but you had 12 courses to make your meal, what about the other 11...Perhaps it was just a bad evening as you told..Best regardsSerge
