Three of us visited for a quick lunch to rest from skiing and decided to sit outside on the sun terrace. The waitress looked stressed and wasn't very welcoming despite not having any customers outside and it took a while to place our order. We ordered two soups and a panini. Unfortunately, only the soups appeared and the waitress disappeared. When she emerged we asked about the third meal and instead of apologising she said it was coming. The panini still hadn't appeared by by the time the soups (which were very tasty) were finished. We had to ask a second time and finally with very little if any apology the panini arrived. Clearly it had been forgotten. There was no offer of compensation or anything to put the experience right which was a surprise in the circumstances. We then made the mistake of ordering coffee and experienced the long wait again. We checked inside to find that inside was empty too. Obviously caught the staff on an off day but they could do with some training - a smile goes a very long way if there are problems and ensuring we had got coffee promptly could have restored faith a little. The food was good so hope they can bring the customer service up to speed to match.

Whether it be a vin-chaux an indulgent lunch or a stop over for the night for an early start, this is a wonderful place to chill and relax. Lovely hosts, at the time of writing, and we are planning a return for a night at altitude in the near future. Can highly recommend!!!

An absolute Swiss delight regardless of whether you've popped in for a quick beer after a walk through the historic cow sheds or intending to spend a long lazy afternoon enjoying the daily special with locally farmed produce and interesting wine selection. The proprietors always have a smile and very generous with bar snack boards of beautiful cheese and ham to nibble on. Daily special is posted outside so it's worth checking which days it's open & what's on the menu! It's a great place to hang out with genuine locals and it won't burn a hole in your pocket. Highly recommended +++

From the name we thought this was a milk bar that sold shakes and ice cream. It's better! It's a wine bar that serves local wines and cheeses. It seemed to be a popular place with the locals, and we enjoyed tasting the specialties of the area.
The Edelweiss Restaurant is located at the foot of the Tracouet ski lifts! Our indoor room and our terrace welcome you 7/7 from 11:30, non-stop service! We adapt to our international clientele and know how to satisfy all tastes. The reputation of the hous
We ended up visiting 3 times in one week with family and friends here at the Edelweiss restaurant because it was such delicious and quality food, presented beautifully and with 1st class customer service every time. The famous Le Fou burger is legendary and the brownie is the best in the Alps! Iâd recommend to anyone visiting with friends, families or even just a takeaway - we even tried this which was so easy and extremely tasty! Thank you Sarah and Filip for enhancing our holiday. See you next year!

Impeccable service. Located right on Telecabine, a short way above the traffic circle which is in the middle of town. We both had the fabulous salmon! This restaurant was very, very good! The recommended wine (Vervant) was very good, the red and white. They served a small chocolate mousse after dinner with our coffee.

We discovered the restaurant a year ago and planned on going back for their signature dish « la potence ». However, when reserving a table we were told that the owner as well as the type of cuisine had changed... after checking the menu online, we decided to give it a try and happily we did! Itâs a little gem, something very different from other restaurants in Nendaz that serve more traditional/typical dishes! The food is delicious, innovative and very tasty. Plus the staff is charming! What a great discovery!

The food is absolutely great! The meat is perfectly cooked and savoury, full of spices and herbs. Desserts are good too. The staff is very kind and the concept "comme à la maison" is very nice as all the dishes come to your table and you help yourself at your own pace. The starters were a bit disappointing.
