La p'tite millette has local cuisine, so don't expect the fanciest of food. What they have, however, is qualitatively excellent, very well made, and lovingly served. This is a great place to visit when visiting the Morvan region.

Welcome to "L'Auberge de Gâcogne"! We are opened from Tuesday to Saturday (9:00 AM to 3:00PM and 5:30PM to 10:00 PM) and sunday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). You can drink a beverage or eat plate of delicatessen or cheese from Morvan and Burgundy, or eat our menu
I took my family here and preordered beef Bourgogne for them. We arrived an hour late because of a long drive, they said no problem. And we had 1 person with celiac disease. They thoughtfully accommodated her allergy with polenta as a side dish and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We also had 1 child who is a very selective eater and they made something special for him as well. It was a fantastic evening with my family. A year later and we still talk about it all the time. We will be back for sure!

The hotel appears to be a family business and provides very friendly service. We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed sitting outside under the church and watching life drift by. A very quiet little place. The wine menu is extensive and is available by the glass, carafe or bottle. Food is offered by set menu - basic dishes that are well sauced. The kids menu and lunch menu were both very good. I went to a more expensive menu and enjoyed the fish. The orange infused Creme Brûlée was delightful! We sat outside by the roadside. Whilst it is quite close to the road, it isnât busy and so was very pleasant. The only downside was that after some good food and a few glasses of very smooth red wine - I did not want to leave.

Tres belle vu sur le lac avec grande terrasse. Viandes de boeuf de charolais. Produits faits maison. Menus pour tous budget
Absolutely terrible service!! Donât bother as very expensive even if you get served ! Servers completely ignored us until we asked to be served then walked off and didnât even ask us what we wanted to drink. Looked at a menu and all was very expensive. Cannot comment on the food as we never got the chance .

It's a simple restaurant with local food, clean and well organized. We took the 13.60 Euro Menu Du Jour ( menu of the day ).For first course we had an Assiete De Charcuterie ( a plate with several kinds of sausages ) and an Assiete de Crudités ( a plate with different kinds of raw vegetables and salads ) that we shared, both very good. For second course we had deep fried tiny fish with green salad. The fish are eaten in one bite, except the head, of course. It was tasty and interesting. The sauce of the different kinds of lettuce salad was very good. For dessert we had Tarte Abricot (apricot tart ) and ice cream, both good.We added a 0.25 liter ( about 8.5 ounce ) red wine pitcher and coffee for 1.10 Euro. The coffee was very good. The food was simple, tasty, sufficient quantity.Service was friendly and efficient. We recommend.

We love this place. It does an unchanging and limited menu of great food all year round. This time we ate the rib of beef ( you have to order this 24 hours in advance) which was generous enough to feed about six people. The wine list is decent and reasonable.

Came across this Auberge completely by accident. It doesn't advertise itself ostentatiously and is quite hidden away from any main roads. This was midweek and a number of locals were eating there - always a good sign! A lovely sunny day so we opted to eat outside in a very pleasant and calm atmosphere. At first we were a little unsure as to whether we were totally welcome as they were busy and a little slow. A smile would not have come amiss! But things soon improved as pressures on the staff eased and from then on it was sheer delight. Their basic menu was 19 euros with the next at 28 euros and so on. As we knew nothing of the place we decided to try the 19 euros, four course menu. My companion, a frenchman who prides himself on his connaissance of food and wines, pronounced the oeufs en meurette as the best he had ever tasted and my jambon persille was so obviously good and well presented. Next came a truly superb boeuf bourgignon with large beautifully tender pieces of meat in a deep rich sauce and served with potatoes dauphinoises and a dish of courgettes. The next simple course consisted of a very large bowl of refreshing fromage frais and another of cream and from which we served ourselves - wonderful quality! By now we were beginning to struggle and so opted for sorbets and ice creams rather than tarts or a platter of cheeses. All of our courses had been generous and there is no mistaking good value for money. As I went inside the restaurant to pay I met the chef and it was very apparent that he takes great pride in the execution of his dishes which tend to be traditional and he is also very rigorous about how and where he sources his produce and ingredients. After the excellent meal we'd had, I could only heap praise on his cuisine and there is absolutely no doubt that we will return

This was an amazing stop. We enjoyed hot chocolate drinks made with homemade chocolate on a spoon which we dipped into a mug of hot milk. We purchased items of "Fabrication artisanale de chocolat 100% pur beurre de cacao". Items made of chocolate.

We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back some fine day. enjoyed lunch on sunny day on terrace looking out over the river and trees. A good choice of lovely french food, not fussy but beautifully presented and tasting fabulous. Very relaxed atmosphere , attentive, friendly staff who could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Vegetarians are not so well catered for sometimes in France but they went out of their way to ensure I had something lovely to eat. It is a very versatile place, in that you can eat something simple or go for 3 or 4 course menu.
