Very Nice Shope
Found the crêpes quite average (good but not excellent). 2 types of cider are available: regular and sweet. The sweet cider was excellent. Dinners from 19:00.

Nice little city center of Font Romeu. Come taste the specialties cheese, charcuterie and regional takeaway or in our restaurant. All the products we offer are either organic, artisan or farmer. Quality products that will make you genuine flavor of our Fr
Had two top lunches here - couldn't ski as completely stuffed up with a cold - nothing complicated but a platter of stunning regional cheeses and a glass of vin from an extensive by the glass list from regional, independent wineries. Service is relaxed, friendly and knowledgable. Wine list is superb.

8 of us went there for a family dinner! Really loved the cosiness and the decoration of the place! You really feel like you're in the mountains. Everything was super tasty and the portions were on the generous side. Still had some room to have a bite of the very nice apple crumble though!

The place is nice, not too many tables, better to book for a table before going otherwise it so difficult. The food is ok, nothing special but it perfectly feat to the location. The service is ok, a bit special, but if your survive the experience, finally they are friendly. If we come back to Mont Louis we will probably repeat at the restaurant.

This place had great dinners every night. Was a real chef. Three courses. Savory Vegetarian options. Liked the small dining room because was quieter dining experience than would have been in bigger venues.

We had lunch at this delightful restaurant after a ride from Villelongue de Conflent on the Little Yellow Train. La Chaumiere is well worth the walk uphill to Font Romeu from the train station. The food was excellent and the staff impeccable. Highly recommended!

Stopped on our way to Mont Louis for a light lunch and bottle of wine. The menu was limited as mid afternoon but local wine good and Croque Monsieur excellent and tasty. Portion of chips generous and service good. Waiter friendly and helpful. The place was a bit run down though.

We were two days in the hotels and two nights at the restaurants.High quality food for moderate menu price. Nice presentation, incredible view, friendly owners. I very much recommend it. Although I could advise to add a second fish dish to the card or menu as only had 1plate and a starter with fish. Another thing I could advise is the young service, the two girls are too rushy lok like being in a hurry when taking the order an pushing the tourist to decide. We were where to relax and dont like to have to order also the desserts in advance as we do not know at start if we will be having one....For the rest the treatment, the lady of the house, the breakfast were incredible nice to us.For sure if we go to that area again we will visit you, thanks!!!

We'd been on the Little Yellow Train and got off at Mont Louis. We called a local taxi as one of our group had walking difficulties. We asked to be taken into the fortified village where we wanted to have lunch. He dropped us near a few restaurants and told us of another nearby. Having looked at what was on offer, we went in and were asked if we had a reservation. We hadn't, but were offered a table inside which we happily accepted. It was the last table they had. The food was great, service spot-on and our friends were delighted. There are tables outside on the small terrace, but they were full or reserved. We reflected that we were better off in the cool anyway! To reserve Tel. 04 68 04 14 32There was time to look round after lunch before rejoining the train! A must do.

Every day, all year round for lunch and dinner menu at ⬠15 with an appetizer, maincoures, dessert and various dishes. Home cooking, fresh produce. On the terrace in summer, near the fireplace in winter. Friendly atmosphere and everytime with a smile.
It isn't often you find a restaurant that offers a combination of great service, knowledgeable and well informed staff and of course, great, local food. Restaurant Lassus meets all of these criteria. My family and I visited in August and even though the village, Boloquere is a very quiet location, the restaurant was full. Clearly good news travels fast. This family owned and managed restaurant was a joy. The Mother and Daughter waiting combination were attentive in a relaxed way. Many country French restaurants can be 'slow' to serve, this is not a negative comment but more of a different cultural approach to dinning out. Despite being busy, staff at Restaurant Lassus were able to give us the time we needed to enjoy our food and at no time did we feel rushed or ignored. They got the perfect balance. The Father is the main chef and also a very welcoming and friendly gentleman. In short, this is a great find and a restaurant I would certainly recommend.
