Tokyo is a food paradise, and some are Nirvana.Lunch has four fixed courses: 2500 Yen, 3500 Yen, 4500Yen, 6500Yen (22June 2014)Dinner is double. Reservations needed.This restaurant is absolutely our favorite for taste, price, service, decor, and location.The freshness of the ingredients and subtle comparison of tastes leaves me (us) inawe. It never fails that we have to inquire about some of the surprises, like today. Therewere simple slices of daikon, but they turned out to be two kinds and a mountain potato. Idrool remembering the meal (lunch 2nd price). The staff remembers us and is alwayssmiling, but not intrusive, and patient with knowledgeable explanations. Desert.... oh my. A walk in Inokashira Park before or after a meal sets both the stage and the memory.But if you have a little more time, stroll around the Kichijoji station food shops and streets filled with amazing sights, sounds, and fragrances. I never tire of visiting andtalking about this area. Enjoy.

My second visit to Uokin. It wasn't that difficult to find. First time I visited with a group of friends. Both times the food and service were really really good. The portion is huge for the price. We ordered salad and staff recommended that we got the half size instead. Even half size, it was enough for 2 people. Bread can be refilled for the price of 3xx yen/person. My recommend is the steak and pasta. Check out special menu of the day too. You might find something nice.
