Roovrays comes highly recommended...And a Charming and ambient evening awaits you...Tastefully decorated with a French influence due to the French Chef and owner. Great value is offered with the Early Bird menu from 6pm till 6.45pm with 2 courses being £1
You really are spoilt for quality restaurants in Mevagissy. Roovrays has a great selection on the menu, and all were beautifully cooked. Nice friendly and helpful service, good size helpings, and all tasted really fresh. We had the monkfish which we would especially recommend. We then came back another day, and the food was just as good. The place is quite small, so we would recommend you book.

Pub, Bakery, Wine Shop. Not your 'usual' pub fayre whole lobsters from £25 (during the spring & summer), Game features heavily during the Autumn and winter months. No 2 days are the same.
The King's Arms will not be to everyone's taste. A small carefully thought out menu of fresh local ingredients. No Chips, No fried onion rings or frozen peas. No sticky laminated plastic menus that haven't changed in years...can this really be a pub menu in the UK? Last Friday night I ate some of the loveliest fresh pasta I have eaten anywhere. As someone who loves cooking and travels the world for food I often fantasise about giving up my job and running a small place where people who love just good high quality food could come to eat whatever I would cook for them. If I ever did I would be happy if it was half as good as the King's Arms. Please don't stop what you are doing.. "If you Build it..they will come"

A fabulous, reasonably priced, family-run restaurant in Carlyon Bay, Cornwall catering to every taste. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Just returned to our hotel having taken an early dinner at Edieâs. We popped in to book this morning & was met with a welcome, cheery smile and chat. Returned this evening to a beautiful atmosphere. We were sat at Table 12, it has a view of the chef, Nigel and his extremely caring and efficient team. The feeling of calm was palpable and appeared to work like a well oiled machine. The waitresses were young, knowledgeable and very friendly without being familiar. The menu is not extensive, but beautifully put together to suit even the most discerning tastes. In addition to that, there are daily specials. We had the pigeon to start and choose the pan fried hake and the neck of lamb as mains. The quality of presentation is superb but overshadowed by the wonderful tastes on our plates! I didnât want the meal to end. Unusually, we had dessert, the blackberry soufflé with lemon sorbet and a treacle tart with clotted cream and salted caramel. The whole meal was exemplary. I can honestly say that it equalled a meal we had in the summer at a Michelin Star restaurant for a birthday celebration. We urge you to book and visit this wonderful little restaurant and enjoy possibly one of the best meals youâll have in a while. Fine dining without taking a mortgage out!
