This is a great restaurant with nice decor and intimate surroundings. The tables are a bit tight and he could be a little noisy but the menu is very good and the food is excellent. The staff is very professional and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. Parking can be a challenge but it is worth it.

Fine dining, no annoying noise level. The service is attentive and knowledgeable about the various French (Tunisian) dishes. The onion soup is the best I ever had. I also recommend Couscous Royal Semolina cooked by steam, served with flank, lamb, chicken, all vegetables in season, and chickpeas seasoned in cumin.Served with merguez which is aTunisian sausage. We also had a fish special which was filet of sole in phyllo dough, which was also very tasty.

Overall very good. We had two breakfast meals, one lunch and one dinner at Brasserie Americana during our 2 ½ day stay over the Christmas weekend. The breakfasts were unremarkable - standard hotel fare. Since the weekend was not busy, the buffet was not offered which was understandable. Not much you can do to mess up breakfasts of oatmeal, eggs/bacon so it was fine, just fine. Lunch and dinner was a different story - very well prepared food offered with competent service and a nice presentation. The bread basket was fantastic and each of our selections, from soup to sandwiches to salads to pasta to entrees was tasty, fresh, and a pleasure to enjoy. The setting is okay - nothing fancy or trendy. This is one time the web picture looked BETTER than the actual room but it was still quit acceptable. We were pleased with our stay at the Inn at Great Neck and pleased with our meals Brasserie Americana.

We’re a few miles away but look forward to enjoying fresh, warm, delightful bakery products at Marie Blachere Boulangerie (MBB)! Their creations are made within their premises. All bakery items could not be any fresher and warm! We had salmon salad and ham pizza, shared a pastry that melted in our mouths, and tasted chocolate fondant. The fruit tarts look appetizing. The atmosphere is friendly. Earlier baked pastries were at 50% discount at 2 p.m. This is another convincing proof of MBB’s products’ freshness!I describe it as a very successful debut in the US and appreciate MBB’s choice of Great Neck for its first location. Welcome to Long Island and Queens, New York!!!
