As a coffeelover I am always on the lookout for new coffee bars. Their newspaper review triggered my curiosity. A nice establishment with a very beautiful terrace... so I went for a terrace seat.Had a normal coffee and a french press Cuba bean. The last one turned out to be a delicious coffee. Lots of different cakes, coffees available and a lunch menu offering a wide variety, vegan included.Very friendly owners... Hoi gv46,Dank u voor de leuke reactie.Fijn dat u er van genoten heeft.Tot een volgende keer,Nicole & Dirk

Dinner late thursday evening so place wasnt crowded. Seats are a bit packed. Service is excellent! Food was very good, perfectly served. Only thing to remark was that the self made fries werent perfectly cooked, the fat was a bit old i think . Very cozy place!

Have had a nice experience in this restaurant. Although much is minimalistic dressed , your taste is very well pleasured with the food the chef presents. The amuse-gueules are top, the 4-dishes menu is balanced and with seasonal products and the food pairing excellent. Also the wines are a little gem.

I had cod in a creamy sauce with shrimps and my husband had pork with mushroomsauce. We both received a large portion and it tasted very good. The waiter was very friendly. As the restarant was completely full, I recommend you make a reservation

A chef with passion, dedication, eye for detail, perfect in its preparation. Does not overshoot the current techniques used by the modern chefs, keeps it surprisingly simple but original, flavors well balanced, classical setting, nothing fancy. So we went with a group for a dinner, let the chef decide and got delighted by the variety of appetizers and dishes. Wine choice was a bit below expectation, not really in line with food but than again, we paid a reasonable price, in the city centre of beautiful Hasselt. This is a great place to come, you get fair quality at fair price, still showing the skills of a talent that shows dedication.OInly thing to improve: if you have ambition and you show this passion, as a chef, come and say hello to your guests to get complimented, you deserve to show yourself.

I was there with my girlfriend and another couple. We liked the simple and modern environment. Diffuse lights makes it also cosy. We explored basically all the menu, from aperitif, entrée, main dish to dessert. Quality of basic ingredients was excellent, cooking was perfect, amount and presentation very good. What I liked the most is an uncommon craft in structuring the tastes, which in my opinion makes dishes unique. Quite a few little ingredients in small quantities make each bite of the dish different than the next, as if you could make a little journey in the ideas of the chef. To be tried to better understand :-)

A second trip to the Intermotel was quite dissappointing. I was given a tiny room as opposed to the large room previously and the General Manager was very rude to me, making bad taste comments about the fact that I was English. He seemed very unhappy about my governments foreign policy?? The food was still good but I am afraid that I will not be staying here again. I do not need to be abused when on a business trip, if he was trying to be funny, he failed badly and has alienated not just me but other members of my company and my customers in Belgium who originally reccommended this hotel. Prices seem to have rocketed too. On my last visit, I was charged â¬80/night and on this trip it was â¬180/night. Whilst with my customers I also herd rumours of other guests from Korea having bottles of wine added to thier bill when they were all actually tea total! Sorry, I will be staying in Hasselt from now on.

The location is excellent, rural and away from the busy roads and towns but still close enough to the highways if you invite friends or colleagues from other cities. Very suited for quiet dinners. We were only in Belgium for a few days and normally the restaurant is closed on Monday but after a phone call we could book a table for the four of us without any problems. We were still a few days away from the opening of the wild game season but they already had some delivered so we had deliciously prepared venison. From the location, to the service, interior decoration, garden, the quality of the food and the wine everything was just perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

We komen hier zeker terug.
