Very crowded and lively and yet not loud. The food was out of this world - tuna tartare, oysters, short ribs in a velvety tomato sauce, clever cocktails and desserts to die for - especially the brillat-savarin cheesecake......and the bread - right out of the oven with real normandy butter. I thought it amazing that even the fellow who cleared our table knew everything about the dishes - clearly there is a good rapport among staff at all levels - it was like being back in France where everyone has a stake in the food....

Loved it. Eggs benedict was delicious. Steak, drinks and dessert all good. Peach bellini was fantastic. Wines were good. Server was friendly. Naked photos on the wall decor, and view is great, with bamboo chairs relaxing. A small band was round the corner. So expensive, but we'd return again for a celebration.

Two simple wooden doors open up to quite a buzz in an otherwise romantic courtyard, where a colorful crowd hangs at the bar and lingers at coveted patio tables. Inside, seats spread throughout the candlelit house-turned-restaurant with intimate decor. Org
Behind the large doors is a beautiful charming restaurant. It is magical with the trees and lights. The service was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing. Very interesting menu. We had several items to try. This is a special dining place. Not your average restaurant. I would recommend this place for that special evening or for a great dinner.

Monsieur Marcel has EVERYTHING a francophile could desire.I mean teas, jams, cheeses, mustards, cookware, and the restaurant is truffle fries perfection, as well as the classic Croque Monsieur and Steak Frites. I love going to The Grove, mostly because I can get my French fix for the things I love most, and stock up without loading up my suitcase and flying for a 16 hour return flight
