My wife and I had dinner at Casa Nostra during a recent skiing holiday to Les 2 Alpes. The restaurant and bar both look very contemporary with a luxury lodge feel. The menu and wine selection were very good and the waiter was accommodating with my poor French and spoke English well.I left feeling a little underwhelmed however. I had a steak from the specials and found it over cooked and under seasoned. My wifeâs steak (not on the specials) was excellent, hence the mixed review. The sauces were very good. The hip hop they had on seemed slightly out of place for the look and feel they were going for and detracted from the meal.I would recommend Casa Nostra for dinner if you were passing, though wouldnât go for a special occasion.

After having lots of cheese and potatoes for a few days, you just want something a bit different - and Alisier is your answer! The duck Margret is very good, and so is the scallops/prawn, the prawn bisque is divine. For dessert the French toast is unmissable, the creme brûlée is so-so, I didnât particularly like the alcoholic creame brulee.

The place is definitely charming and has it's nice mountain character. Prices are relatively high (for food like raclette and fondue, that you basically cook yourself at the table), but in line with other restaurants in the resort. Cheese seems to be high quality, so that explains it to some extent. The owner was a bit cold with us and it wasn't so easy to understand each other (our French was limited, and so was her English).

La Cantine de Tom was the first restaurant my partner and I visited during our stay in Les Deux Alpes, and we were pleasantly surprised! We both ordered the tartiflette - huge serving size but delicious! Perhaps share one between two, if you don't have a big appetite. The tartiflette was accompanied by a light salad and some bread. We paired it with some dry white wine which worked really well. The fire was started midway through the afternoon, which added to the atmosphere. Overall, a good restaurant with delicious, traditional Savoyarde food at reasonable prices!

I came here with friends while on holiday as we were recommended it by our hotel. I had the fondue which was just delicious. But most of all the service was fantastic and the ambience was great...the staff were super friendly and attentive and I loved the music!! It felt like a little party by the end of the evening and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. Would recommend to all!!

Wonderful valentines dinner. Reasonable price for a michelin star restaurant, and very good wine list. Food was very good and service was very attentive, really canât fault it. Only slight thing would be that I found the duck Margret a bit chewy/tough when I expected it to be more soft but that maybe just a personal taste? All in all a wonderful meal, thank you for a great experience - great to try something different after having cheese fondue / raclette most other nights.
