Restaurant for 30 years with the same kitchen the same owner; French and Creole cooking based on local products. Service in ventilated and shaded terrace. Menu and Map Formulas. Open lunch and dinner, daily, weekly closing on Thursdays
This restaurant was absolutely excellent! It's French and Caribbean food, rather than specializing in one or the other. It's small and pleasant, with a nice outdoor eating area on a porch. We opted for the prix fixe menu. The chicken was incredibly tender and absolutely delicious, with a nice heap of French-style homemade fries. The salad dressing was like crack - if I went back, I'd probably just order a ton of side salads, it was that good. An orange-vanilla-vinaigrette, if I had to guess. The crab appetizer was really unexpected; it was a warm crab spread that tasted delicious eaten alone or on a piece of the baguette that came with the meal. The squid dish was interesting and had wonderful flavors. Plus, any meal that comes with ice cream is automatically great! The coconut ice cream had actual coconut flakes in it and was so delicious. We are very happy that you enjoyed our cuisine. We will see you again with great pleasure. We have always, despite the years, our culinary passion intact.

Had several meals at this lovely place, all of which were well cooked and tasty. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a group of sailors in need of showers and charging our phones! We had coffee, cocktails, nibbles and meals throughout the day all of which were served in the sunshine and with a smile and most importantly tasted delicious. Situated right on the beach at the end of the pier, this is an ideal calling spot for the many sailors who call into Grande Anse d'Arlet using the free mooring. Look forward to returning.

We ran into this place while we were wandering aimlessly through Anse d'Arlet. We saw it from afar and we quickly decided this *had* to be a place with good food.Boy, were we right. I had some very innocent-looking -- but very good -- sausages, and my girlfriend had grilled lambiches. Both were absolutely amazing. The hosts were very kind to us and tried their best to work through my really bad French.I can't recommend this place enough. I know too little about Creole culture and cuisine to say if it's authentic or not, but this was, by far, the best food we had in Martinique. Not the fanciest or the most pretentious, but definitely the best.

We arrived on Christmas Day (after 9PM) with four teens, so we were unsure of whether any restaurants would be open, or exactly what time we would arrive at our condo. We ordered a traditional Martiniquais Christmas dinner of pork roussi, pois, jambon-ananas, rice and pork patties. Kids loved it! They delivered everything earlier in the day, and we only had to reheat it slightly. We even had enough for another meal! Lovely people and delicious food.Hello,Thank you for your positive feedback on our catering service served at home at The Diamond.

We arrived at Ti Sable at 10AM and there are tons of beach chairs available. Well, evidently they are ALL reserved!! I didn't know anything this restaurant ahead of time since our apartment manager was the one who recommended this place. She didn't offer to call and make reservations, and my French wasn't good enough to call and reserve chairs. We stayed for 4 hours and never got a chair, even though at least 8 were still available at 2PM. It was frustrating and somewhat ruined our trip. There is a large rock shelf right where you get into the water here, and the water was somewhat murky, so you can't really see where you are stepping. One of the positive points was that the food at Ti Sable was really good and some of the waiters spoke English. There was a small gift shop, someone giving massages, and you could rent jet skis.

We walked in at 7.30, the only people in the restaurant and my husband was itching to leave but so glad we didn't. Excellent excellent dinner. I had lamb, the husband had risotto and daughter had vegetarian option, sides were local vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The chef is very talented. When we left at 9.30, several couples had joined us. Dessert was artisanal ice-cream (coconut and basil were superb), creme brulee and profiterole. All fabulous. Small wine list but good and overall value for money considering how great the food was. The service was also highly attentive with a charming young man from Colombia. Don't miss this place, well worth the detour.

Ti Payot is a great lunch time spot right on the beach. Their ti punch and daiquiris are perfection! Their staff is friendly and some spoke very good English to help balance our poor French. Surprisingly, their hamburger is really good and their french fries. We also had the marlin tar tar which was so great with whatever seasoning they use. I loved it!

This is ranked #1 of restaurants in Les Anses d'Arlet, and we totally agree. Low lighting, well spaced tables and low music set the mood very well. Service is fast, friendly, and at least one staff person knows English. We can't comment on drinks, as we had ours at our apartment, but the food was exquisite! We started with house foie gras which had chopped ?walnuts that was delicious, as was the tuna tartare with passionfruit juice. Our mains were veal tartare (fantastic with blue cheese and diced green apples mixed in) and beef steak served with a side of Thai dipping sauce. The steak was an excellent cut and was cooked perfectly. This was an awesome end to our stay on the south end of Martinique, and was by far our best meal in the area.

Grenade & Basilic is a restaurant in a charming little picturesque street in the heart of the city, in a charming house dating back to the 1900s. Michel, the chief owner, offers a Mediterranean cuisine, mixed with local flavours. He used his talents in ma
The food and service in this small owner run restaurant were superb. It is a small restaurant with tables attractively laid with white linen. My husband had tuna cooked perfectly, pink in the middle as he loves it and a delicious christophene dish to go with it. My entrecôte steak was really tasty with excellent ratatouille and delicious mushroom sauce on the side. The owner did the cooking and served us. He made us feel so welcome and it was the perfect end to our stay in Martinique.Show lessHello and thank you for your positive review!
