We had a superb lunch here. Lovely little terrace just a short walk from the piste , just below Rond Point. Well worth the effort as the food was superb. We had one of the best filet steaks ever..very tender and cooked perfect. After that a great dessert with fresh fruit and real cream. This is very popular in the evenings but not so well known for lunch. It is well worth finding this one for lunch too. Exceptional food and reasonable prices all round. Lovely friendly service. The also do a special lunch menu that is excellent value.

If you like generous portions of well made, unpretentious food, in a homely environment with lovely service and reasonable pricing ..... with excellent local specialities alongside a broader menu selection .... and a very reasonable wine selection .... ....... then you shouldnât miss out on Briz Olee. It is by far the best independent restaurant in Mottaret!!

Excellent ambiance, good service, good value.I took the chef special pizza - raclette, it is huge! Best make sure you are hungry, after saying it was her favourite, our waitress later admitted it took 3 sittings for her to finish one! What I did manage to eat was good. My wife's burger was well presented and was demolished in very quickly! Chips were good too.

6 friends has lunch here recently. What a treat it was. Service great from start to finish, varied menu with lots of choice for everyone including many mushroom options. We had been recommended to try the mushroom cappuccino - absolutely divine. All our main courses were delicious - especially the duck. All very rich but we managed to share a couple of deserts - highly recommend the lemon meringue tart. The mushroom ice cream was not our favourite but had to be sampled. Local wine choices very good too. Weâll definitely be back.

9 of us had a very reasonably priced and quite excellent meal. We went for the decouvert menu and had great fun. Every course was interesting with some unexpected twists. Service was outstanding and friendly. The final bill was just over â¬110 per head including wine which for a starred restaurant is hugely good value

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, we take to heart to work local and fresh products. Our dishes specialties are roast piglet and cockerel as well as mature meats. A variation of eggs casseroles is also available as starter You will always be welcome to t
Friendly staff, aseptic (uncozy) interior, poor English knowledge. We were easy - 3 portions of raclette - this should be no problem - uncooked potatoes served! Waiter fixed it immediately. One set of local liquer served to apologise. So good result, issue fixed but the overall feeling just on average level.

This is a great and popular lunch for dinner. What most people don't realise it is also excellent for a peaceful & relaxed lunch in town when the pistes are heaving with people !! Or of course when the weather is bad you can still enjoy a lovely lunch to make up for it ! A 3 course lunch was just 22e and wine is average price for Meribel. Service from Xavier the waiter on the day was friendly and relaxed. We tried one of their unique puzzles for a discount ! But I could not manage it. Quite fun to try for the kids too. Different levels for a different discount !! Well recommended for a lunch in town.

My wife and I recently visited the French Ski Resort area of Meribel. On a Saturday about 12:30 PM we sought a local restaurant for lunch and came upon the Martagon (the name signifies a local Alpine flower) as it's on the main road from Meribel down to Moutiers in the valley. As it was open and looked inviting we decided to eat there and we were not disappointed. An authentic Alpine mountain lodge, the Martagon has 2 dining areas plus a bar and a large parking area. No doubt there is an outdoor space as well but the temperature was only in the 50s Fahrenheit that day so all tables were inside. As it was not yet full (most French dine at 1 PM) we had a lovely table with a view over the valley. The waitress spoke enough English to help us choose and of course we speak French also. My wife had a delicious warm-goat-cheese salad that was also very big. I opted for the lamb shank which turned out to be one of the best I have ever eaten. The cook was out of fried potatoes (surprise!) but had "frites" French fries and they were also excellent. He gave me so much delicious lamb gravy that I didn't even need ketchup or any other sauce for them. Served with a small side salad. I had an excellent Cotes du Rhone red wine by the glass at a reasonable price and we shared a bottle of Badoit sparkling mineral water. The meal was so good we shared a dessert, something we rarely do for lunch; a "chocolat fondant" (chocolate muffin with melted chocolate center) that was fantastic. The expresso coffe was also tasty and we left quite satisfied. I'd give this restaurant an "excellent" score except for the fact that it was somewhat "pricey" for the food offered but if that does not matter then you will have an excellent meal in a lovely mountain setting at this Alpine Flower restaurant.

I was surprised to find a Michelin starred restaurant in such a small village. I treated myself and I`m glad I did the food is superb, the staff well trained. You can have lunch as well. Well worth the money.

Family kitchen, local specialities, rustic and cosy chalet style with terrace. Lots of Belgium beers. Booking is recommended.
There are 3 restaurants at that level of Saint François Longchamp and le Plancher des Vaches is certainly the best out of the 3. Nice family run creperie that also serve traditional savoyard food. It's recommended to book in advance as it's very often full.
