Dined twice in one week with a large family group that included young kids, the first of which we had no reservation. We were warmly accommodated on both occasions. Their specialty is a very fine, crunchy buckwheat crepe. Most are in the 5-10 euro range; exceptional value given the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The cider selection is extensive and included very high-quality ones. The Brocéliande Rosé was an all around favourite. The service was swift and professional. The garden dining area (weather permitting, which it was not) and window to watch the chefs work were both great distractions for little ones. Be sure to reserve as this place fills fast.I normally get sick of eating crepes after the second time while in Brittany but I will likely return to this place before leaving to go home!

We have staying at this little hotel for many years now and have always had a good experience. In a quiet corner of Brittany and slightly out of town this is a an ideal spot to relax and unwind.Clean and comfortable bedrooms and with a dining area and bar/lounge decorated in a faintly japanese style the food is really good with many local families using it for special occasions. There is always a warm welcome from Monsieur and his wife and we always look forward to our visits there.I thank you very much for your message.I will transfert your informations to all our staff that are doing the best to help us daily at the Gavrinis. We will be glad to welcome you next time

Restaurant crêperie bretonne traditionnelle. Produits locaux, circuits courts, producteurs proches voisins. Galettes à l'ancienne, fines et croustillantes. Cidres et bières artisanaux. Accueil chaleureux. Il est préférable de réserver.
Stopped here for lunch and got the last outside table. We were quickly given menus and when the waitress noticed we were speaking English bought us English versions of the menu.We ordered cider and a galette each. I had the goats cheese, honey walnut and salad whilst my partner had scallops and leek. Both came within a reasonable time and looked and tasted delicious. We followed with coffee. This was excellent value at less than 30â¬.The serving staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. An excellent example of a French creperie.A word of warning, like many French restaurants they serve lunch only between 12 and 2 and are then closed until 7 pm for dinner.

This is a small restaurant but has a lot to offer. We had a very good value meal outside on the quiet main road with friendly service, we will be backThank you for your opinion see you again.

Asphodele tries to be different and succeeds. Amongst the plethora of creperies on the island and elsewhere in the region, it makes a nice change to find somewhere that does things differently, and very much it's own way. Other reviewers have said pretty much everything about the burgers, quiches, etc. so all I'll add is one word or caution for peanut allergy sufferers: check what you're ordering (the staff do speak English), and ask them to leave the peanuts out. We missed the menu listing (which is clear in French, in fairness, but we didn't recognise the word) and had to send one order back: our fault, and to the credit of the staff it was replaced without question or charge. The setting is lovely, the staff friendly. It's expensive, but worth it as a treat.

Closed for winter. Will open in march 2018.
The only thing missing was the sea view. The restaurant was really good and the modules frites the best I have had this trip. Very good lunch stop, highly recommended. Clean facilities (Certainly not guaranteed in France), good service, excellent value. What more to say?

Since 1935 the Creneguy family have worked tirelessly to offer you the best oysters the Golfe du Morbihan. In 2017, the 5th generation opened the oyster bar « Chez Lucien » (an hommage to their great grand father). With panoramic views of the Gulf & Larmor
lovely setting for some oysters. they have a shop just at the top of the property where you can buy some to go too!staff were nice too, even if they did try in their broken english! oysters were absolutely delicious and fresh.Thank you for spending some time with us Chez Lucien! Hopefully as time goes on, our English will get better! See you soon

I cannot echo the excellent reviews. The evening we went there it was very busy. The Choice of food offered that was rather uninspired. We had cod and confit de canard. Both okay but definitely nothing special and no reasonably to come back.
