Encore Bistro Francais was opened in March 2000 in Larchmont, NY. David Masliah, the owner of this cozy French Bistro, is originally from Lyon, France. He chose Larchmont because of the bustling downtown area and the absence of any French restaurants. Lar
We just celebrated our 30th anniversary here, and while we didnât really splurge, we had a tasty and pleasant meal for about $100, including three glasses of wine, one salad, and no dessert. I had the mesclun salad, which was generous and good. My wife had the artichoke and cheese plate, and was satisfied. My generous serving of fettucine was good. The grated cheese was served in a small, metal container, and was adequate. The waiter provided pepper from a grinder. I suppose they canât do much about the few flies and gnats, especially in the summer. We are happy to have been party of that milestone anniversary, and thank you for picking Encore to celebrate it. We are glad that you enjoyed your dinner, the artichoke is such a simple version of French cooking, but yet, it is one of my personal favorite. I am sorry for the flies intruding in your meal, as you said , it is rather difficult to have a full control over that issue. Please come to us again for your next celebration.David.

I went to La Parisienne because I was on my way elsewhere, and that place was closed. I'm so glad I did because I've now discovered one of the best bakeries in the West Chester County area. This owner is an absolutely amazing baker. I got a smoked salmon quiche and it was so buttery and flakey. My mother got a pear tart which was perfectly baked. Not too sweet or thick with pastry. If you ever need to just run out and grab any baked good, make this your stop. Bare in mind it's got some tables and a few outside, but I wouldn't call it a restaurant. It's a bakery with a few tables. Just keep that in mind.

Been to La Panetiere for brunch, dinner and lunch.. Each was wonderful in its own way. The brunch is elegant and enables diners to dip into the delights of the full menu. The dinner tasting menu was a delight from start to finish. The wine pairings were excellent.Lunch was good but not quite the same as the brunch or dinner.

Le Provençal offers top quality French cuisine and service for reasonable prices. As a âself-designatedâ Bistro, Le Provençal projects a âquality casualâ ambiance, as opposed to a stuffy fine dining pretentiousness. The difference is important, and Le Provençal delivers as promised. Three of us ordered three different fish dishes, John Dory, sea bass, and tuna - all excellent. Our country pâté and escargot starters were very good.
