Most La Flotte restaurants are quite fish based. This one isnât, itâs about the meat and the meat is great, they elevate burgers to an art form!

Old maritaise institution l'escale reopens its doors after a complete renovation in 2018 located in the heart of the charming village of la noue we'll welcome you in our bright and cozy dining room or our shaded terrace the chef yoann leraut and his team
We enjoyed the food. We felt that the restaurant was not as friendly, attentive or receptive as some of the other restaurants we visited over 2 weeks. Perhaps the restaurant tends to focus on regular local customers and is not as well geared to us foreign diners.Nice but not our favourite.

In the morning we propose breakfast from 9am until 11:30am. For lunch and dinner we serve : oysters, mussels, salads, pizzas, hamburgers, day dishes, entrecôteâ¦.
Most of the main restaurants in La Flotte are grouped around the port area. In high season they all seem to be constantly busy, with a lot of hustle and bustle as a result. We happened upon Le Pas Sage as we meandered a little further, and thought it offered the chance of a "quieter" dining experience! There was a good range of Tapas options on offer but we decided on the (only) two main plates on offer; the Magret de Canard and the Salmon. Both were excellent. We ordered a pichet of red wine, which was most pleasant (Luberon, I think). Having had a lated lunch we declined offers of dessert and finished with two pleasant coffees. The waitress was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was well appointed (we dined outside) and the facilities were well maintained and clean. So, if you stroll only a 100 metres or so from the main port, you will not be disappointed if you choose to stop off at Le Pas Sage!

Fresh oysters from our production, served on our terrace facing the ocean, the Cabane Oceane invites you to enjoy a plate of oysters, and come great dishes that can come with. Our staff is ready to welcome you and make sure you have a fantastic time !
One of several ostréicultures (oyster farms) nr St Martin where you can get fresh seafood - live oysters, fresh cooked bulots (whelks) and cooked crevettes. What makes this one special is the view over the oyster beds, and chic decor. Yet despite looking like a fancy hotel roof garden, it was mid priced, family friendly, and very welcoming. The wines were great too. The guy at the bar was also fully bilingual (Eng/Fre). No bookings, so if the weather is good, get there early.

Superb mouth-watering deep-filled tarts to take away. On a retail park at the back of La Flotte near Intermarche supermarket. Well worth finding. The take-away box fitted nicely on the back of bikes. You can see other tarts in the process of being made & filled with high quality, fresh ingredients. No individual tarts. The small size tart serves 4 (â¬16) The large serves 8 (â¬25). Tart cases are fine & light. Unusual fillings are either savoury or sweet. Could possibly be fila pastry or similar. The choice included an Asian, an oriental inspired one, one with a Spanish influence plus several others. We chose the La Primeure with asparagus, spinach, quail eggs, parmesan & lemon. Next time I'd be more adventurous & try Le Crab-Thai. Dessert tarts include a cheesecake made with fromage blanc, a pavlova, an apple-caramel, a chocolate fondant plus a crumble style tart which we had. It was made with strawberries, rhubarb & almond cream. The lady taking our order in my halting French was very helpful. My only regret is finding this place on the last day of our holiday. Recommended highly

Fabulous food prepared in house. I had burrata with olives, mushrooms and truffle followed by tuna topped with grilled foie gras. Made room for a chocolate tart. My husband had an egg dish with ham to start followed by hake with a chorizo paste and squid ink. He also made room for strawberry soup. Refreshing mint sorbet as a finale!! So good. Book and go!

Read good reviews about this place and only a few metres from where we were staying so booked it for Friday night. Arrived and were quickly seated and menu is the place mat so we had that right away. 5minutes later the blonde waitress comes out with a wine list and then disappears before we can order a drink. 5minutes later she re-appears with a pad and makes her way towards us only to stop and chat to the table before ours. After another 10minutes and a few hard stares she finally decides to take our order while apologising for taking so long! Surely you take the order and THEN chat with your friends? After that everything is fine and served quickly as she could see we were upset. Food is delicious but we'd never eat there again because of her

In the fine decor of a 17th century style dining room, delight in an intimate gastronomic dinner at La Table d'Olivia. The restaurant welcomes a maximum of twenty guests each evening for a unique culinary experience. Here, you will enjoy a refined and aut
From start to finish an excellent experience. A small but impeccable dining room offers the most refined dining experience in St Martin. The cooking here easily surpasses several Michelin starred restaurants we have visited recently and I'm sure the guide must surely be thinking awarding one here. What we liked was a respect for the ingredients. Top produce with seasonality in mind and then cooked to perfection with a restraint not to add unnecessary garnishes. We also shared a bottle of the hotel's own wine Chateau Clarisse Vielle Vignes 2015 which is new Chateau to me. What a lovely bottle. Already drinking superbly I can say quality to price ratio it is somewhat of a bargain. Until next year! Dear Madam, Dear Sir, I am delighted to read your kind words, thank you for taking the time to share your experience at La Table dâOlivia.Thrilled to read that you appreciated the cuisine of our Chef Thibault Peyroche. We take care about choosing and cooking local and seasonal products. Our Chef used to have a Michelin star in the past, his everyday aim is to bring his guests on an exquisite culinary journey.I am pleased to see that you appreciated the dining room. For the decoration, I collaborated with the renowned designer Mr. Pierre-Yves Rochon, and I surrounded myself with the best craftsmen in order to highlight the history of the Ile de Ré and the Region.Delighted to read that you have appreciated our wines. Our own wine, Château Clarisse, enjoys clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soil and is composed of 67% merlot, 30% cabernet francs and 3% carmenere.I would be happy to welcome you again. For any future stay or reservation, I am happy to put you in touch with my assistant, Marie Dumarest ([email protected]), she will be pleased to arrange the details of your next stay with us.
