We had lunch at this tiny restau rant, the lady of the house was so hospitable and welcoming despite her very busy restaurant. The Pork Roti served with a small home salad and fresh bread was delicious and so tasty, we will always come back to this restaurant when we have the chance. We speak very little French and she very little English but this was no problem socializing with her and enjoying our meal. This little place is big treat for us, everything is good. We will come back.

Warm welcome and friendly, food at any time of the omelette, charcuterie plate, regional specialties. Fondues, special Hamburger (country bread), regional meats, fresh products, prepared menus and decided by market. Establishment included in an area offer

A pleasant, spacious largely empty dining room with windows all round and an outdoor eating terrace in front that was full. The menu striking in its diversity, burgers in different degrees of grandness, culminating in one including foie gras (the plainest in the series was rather good, excellent beef and wonderful potato chips; salad mediocre but generous), regional food of which we had a Trufade, a polite way of eating calories (potato, onion, ham and melted cheese in a sort of mass) but delicious of course, and finally the untried half of the menu entirely Thai food, the typical 6 or 7 word items that only Thai devotees can turn into taste. Good beer and a respectable wine, not du pays. The service was slow to get rolling, but once started was professional and charmingly delivered.

This is very good, old-fashioned French catering. The restaurant itself is stylishly decorated, with proper table linen and good attention to details of service. The menu is not particularly large, but if my selection is anything to go by, this should be considered a positive feature. Each dish was delicious, and there were two separate amuse-bouches. Highly recommended by me - and by the hosts at my chambre d'hotes who directed me there in the first place.

We had dinner one night in October. Only few visitors around but the owner made us feel welcome and accommodated our vegetarian wishes. Excellent home cooked food in front of the lit fireplace. Large portions, "amuse" to start with. Good value for France.
