Nice food, though definitely opt for the seafood. The pasta wasn't much to write home about, but the fish options were lovely.

High class service, topfood served in a fine, relaxed atmosphere. Established in 1997, more than twenty years Leiden's finest!
A great restaurant offering high end food at reasonable prices. We did the â¬80 a head mid week meal not realising that this also included a flight of wines to pair with every course. Water and coffee was complimentary which really gave an overall feeling of exemplary service. Food fantastic and service great and price reasonable. What more can you ask for!Definitely will be going back

Ich have been here auf few years before and they have kept und their Level in anderen touristic environment where the temptation is big to lower your colours to what everybody else is doing there. They offer meals (you choose the number of courses) and the composition is vergessen sophisticated, down to the desserts. Fish, very good choices of meat going with veggies in a very modern and nice way. The advice on the Wine was very helpful, as my choice on the house wine was not to my taste. The aussie replacement was first category.

Salt is a new beachfront restaurant in the location of the former Zon en Zeebad. It is owned by the neighbouring five star hotel Huis ter Duin. Food and service are quite upscale, prices are in line with this. I enjoyed a cappuccino and a sandwich eal (broodje paling). Service was quick and professional.

Restaurant Iets Anders is open daily, we offer a great menu in French bistro style and we are available for groups but when you are looking for a romantic dinner for 2 you will be suprised what we have to offer, so now it's time for something different!
Friends recommend us to this restaurant, it has a nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. The starters were better than average (scallops) but the rest was all very average. The fish brochette was fine but not special. My husbandâs pork tenderloin was very dry. The starter bread was what you can buy in a grocery store. All to say...I can cook better at home. No need to pay such money for this food. We wonât be back, too bad.

There are a number of places to eat along the Boulevard in Katwijk or even on the beach itself. We decided on this place on a very warm Monday evening in July and sat outside. It was fairly busy but not packed that evening with some people inside and some outside. The menu is the usual mix of snacks, salads, burgers, steaks etc but all at reasonable prices. I suspect that most places were busier due to the exceptionally hot weather, so consequently that could explain why service was a little disorganised as they were busier than they expected to be. They also need to be more attentive to the needs of customers starting with the menu. We had to help another table of diners to ensure that they finally got a menu in English, having first been provided with one in Dutch, then German then finally English. Just ask the customer in the first place! Whilst you can dine outside, it might be more difficult if you have mobility issues as the restaurant is up three steps from pavement level (see photographs) and there are further steps to access the toilets. You would need to check beforehand with the restaurant about the availability of ramps for accessibility. That said, once orders were made, food and drinks arrived fairly quickly. Just good solid food. What the Germans call "gutbuergerlich essen" which we don't have a translation for in English. Save on the desert and visit the ice cream stand across the road which also does, unusually, soft ice cream.Good location in Katwijk, short walk to the beaches from the restaurant and right next to the bus stop to get you back to Den Haag (90) or Leiden Centraal (37). Just check on your bus times beforehand as some services are hourly after a certain time.

Pure ingredients, full of flavor, are key at Suzie's & Van Aken's. "As a Chef and Patissier we work with products whose origin and quality are known to us. Combinations of taste are prepared for you with the utmost precision and attention. Enjoy a culinar
An eight month old hidden jewel worthy of a Michelin Star. The ingredients are real premium . An innovative cuisine yet sublet and flavorful taste, small and very attentive service I could feel the passion in the food preparation if they they keep that passion a flare soon they will be Michelin rated. I enjoyed every bit it of the experience and I would definitely skip any of the nearby rated restaurants to repeat this dinner.

The restaurant is close to the pedestrian shopping area of Katwijk. It is beautifully decorated and looks very cosy from the outside. Weâve been there on a Friday night around 7pm and would definitely recommend to book a table in advance, every table was occupied. We started off with some very nice, fresh bread with an olive tapenade and herb butter. After that we had 2 appetizers (tuna sashimi and prawns cocktail) and two mains (the grilled tuna and the salmon au gratin), along we ordered two craft beers from their quite extensive beer menu. The tuna in both dishes was of very good quality, the sauces accompanied it well. The prawns were fresh, but tastewise the dish offered nothing special, same with the salmon, which was quite heavily topped with a sauce hollandaise. Unfortunately the greens in the dish disappeared somewhat in the sauce. The waiter was quite taken with the two female guests on the next table, so our service came a bit short, but he was attentive enough not to complain anyway. The whole meal came to 90 EUR, which we found was slightly expensive for what we got.
