been here several times now; the food is always good the atmosphere brilliant; you get a 4 course meal with wine and coffee for 12â¬; you get plenty of choice; The food is lovely and fresh and the staff friendly; just follow the white van (work ) in to a huge car park and you know you wont go wrong; the restraunt is huge with plenty of seating and space so you dont feel cramped; well worth a visit; i will recomend to all my friends; a proper traditional french meal; every time we have visited has been as good as the time before; So far we have never been served chips which is a bonus; please do go and try it

Very pleasant experience, we had the menu of the day at 10.5 Euros - a Galette, a crepe and a boulee of cidre. The galettes were slightly more well done than we would have liked but not burnt. Would definitely return to this creperie.

Really enjoyable meal on a very cold Winter's evening. Home cooking at it's best, we were made welcome and will certainly be back.

This is a typical breton creperie and grill.
We had excellent service at this friendly, buzzing restaurant. Initially we sat outside but as the evening got cooler the staff were happy to relocate us inside. Food was good value, the beef bourgignon was wonderful and prices were very reasonable, as was the house wine.

The Hotel Restaurant is located near the Castle of the Rohan Dukes, one of the last inhabited, and the Oust river (Canal from Nantes to Brest). In the heart of Brittany, halfway between Rennes and Lorient or Vannes and Pontivy, come to enjoy this quiet an
We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last 14 years and we have always enjoyed our meals there. The last time, a couple of weeks ago was with friends who had never been there before, and what an excellent dinner we had. The quality of the food, the choice available and the presentation of the meal was first class and exceptional value - â¬120 for four of us plus a decent bottle of wine and coffee. I don't know how they do it.On top of this, it's a lovely traditional grand scale restaurant with amazing views to the chateau and the canal. Well recommended; looking forward to our next visit!Hello,Thanks a lot for this lovely comments ! We are happy to see you enjoyed your dinner in our restaurant ! Fantastic value for money, lunchtime menu under 25⬠for two!Such a quirky French place to eat, very clean and extremely welcoming. There is also the choice of sitting on 'The Terrace' overlooking the Nantes-Brestcanal, tranquil and idyllic. The proprietors are husband and wife who take great pride in their work. Presentation is above par., much more than you expect. We had four delicious courses, accompanied with carafs of wines, cider & water -all inclusive in the price.Looking for somewhere to rub-shoulders with the locals and confident that the menuwill be good, then look no further.

Weâve enjoyed a simple meal in this cosy restaurant: Soup, Galettes, local beer (Lancelot), mineral water. Everything reasonably priced. Not a tourist trap.Very reliable. Not haute cuisine but very OK.The service has been attentive and fast. The restaurant is nicely located at the river road, near the castle. As it was raining we could not dine outside.

We really liked most of what we had although sadly our fillet steaks were overcooked. It was also good to get plenty of vegetables even though they were a bit fancied up. The staff are super, the tables comfortable, the wine is well priced for an expensive restaurant so it's definitely affordable. Fabulous views across the river. However, if it weren't for the English we suspect they be short of customers.
