A nice place for a casual lunch. La Terasse Gourmande is situated between the Main Street and the harbour in Jard Sur Mer. There is seating both indoors and outside. At lunch time they serve a fixed menu which includes a starter, entree, cheese course and sweet course. A 250 ml carafe of wine per person is included. All this for 15⬠per person. The food was good but not amazing. Service is friendly. Although our visit was out of the main tourist season, the restaurant was busy.In the evening, the menu is more expensive but from the pictures on the website , it would appear that the dishes reflect this.

Okay, so not for the feint hearted, itâs a full fat experience but what an experience. We have eaten here several times & we have never been disappointed. The fondues are simply indulgent and just what holidays are all about. The home made desserts are equally delicious. The service is attentive and charming but itâs a small team, the meals are cooked from scratch so be patient, enjoy the apéro & itâll be worth the wait. Be sure to reserve because this little gem is always full of locals.

This is a family run restaurant which serves local produce and does fabulous pizzas. It is always busy, even out of season, so I would recommend that you book a table. We've been here for lunch and dinner and would highly recommend it. Our last server was Antoine who looked after us very well, with typical french humour thrown in to keep us laughing throughout. I'm vegetarian and the team are more than happy to adapt dishes to give me more choice. They were equally helpful with a guest of ours who has a gluten allergy. The restaurant will also accept your (well behaved) dog on the terrace (covered in cooler weather).

Went here last year and was amazed at the quality, service and price. Back again this year, itâs even better had a refurbishment. This is a quality establishment that makes excellent food, at a fair price and service is second to none. Will be back again this month. Make sure you book! Merci de votre retour qui nous permet d'avancer et de progresser. Merci de l'intérêt porté à notre Bédame. Retrouvez nous, avec plaisir, aux alentours de la fin Mars pour le début d'une nouvelle saison :)

We had lunch here and whilst not outstanding it was nice. I went for the ham, egg and cheese option, my husband for something a little more substantial and the kids, 8 & 4, had plain ham, which was a little dry.Puddings were lovely. I had the Apple, cream and ice cream pancake and the kids had ice cream and ice cream an Nutella.Service was excellent and our waiter was trying out his English with us and did a great job.A little on the expensive side, just over â¬70 for the 4 mains, 3 puds and 4 drinks (one of those a beer).

Le Transat is a Brasserie in the Seafront of Jard sur Mer well located just in front of the windmill. We are open from 9h00 am to 10h00 pm before the season and 9h00 am to 2h00 am During the summer. We are closed on Wednesday, open 7/7 during July and Aug
We were spending a weeks holiday in Jard Sur Met at the beginning of June and we wandered down to the sea front late afternoon, and having done our homework on Jardâs Restaurants, we booked a table for that evening.Wow! All four of us chose the 19 Euros set meal with 3 courses all agreed the food was well cooked and delicious.I would definitely recommend the fish and chips, and our friends, plus my husband would recommend the Confit Canard. The restaurant was extremely busy and pre booking a table had been the right thing to do.We visited later in the week and were seated outside but under cover and was again were delighted with our meals.

This restaurant seemed to be quite huge and predominantly pink and purple! There were very few diners in the restaurant which doesnât give you that ambiance, however, there was nothing wrong with the service or food.We all chose pizzas, mine was Saumon, which was huge and delicious, as were all the rest- Savoyarde and 2 Orientales.I can recommend the mouse chocolate to finish, it was yummy!

Four for dinner, two residents of France and two visitors. No starters, straight into the main course. Grilled hake for two cooked to perfection; duck breast a point and a choucroute royale- a stunning mix of seafood instead of pork in a perfectly balanced sauce, with monkfish, prawns, scallops, scampi, mussels and white fish.Profiteroles offered with a choice of ice cream filling; and sticky dark chocolate cake , with a bottle of organic Rhone..... We sat outside in the warmth of the evening and agreed, this THE place to eat in Jard sur Mer....!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived & the service was friendly & efficient. The staff speak good English to compensate for my pitiful french. They brought out a sparkler with dessert & sang happy birthday to one of our group. Just lovely people. The food is exceptional. The set meal at the end of the menu, although not cheap, was worth every euro. The monkfish in chorizo sauce WOW. Go there, you won't regret it

Located in Jard sur mer, the KOU-DE-TA will seduce you with its sober and delicate ambience, its bar and its cuisine in finesse. Specializing in fresh products including frogs' legs and lobster, come and awaken your taste buds. With friends, family or bus
Great service, very interesting dishes and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately we found this gem on our last day. We would have eaten here frequently! It is not on the sea front, but do not let that put you off. A really nice place for a casual evening meal with great food. Highly recommended.
