Day trip to Frejus. Whilst the historic town area was 'ok' cannot say worth a return visit as cannot compare to laces nearer our Antibes base. Anyway whilst there we selected 'a table' for lunch tased on TA reviews and were not disappointed. It is very small and a little outside the main Rea (only a few minutes walk). Sat outside and I had duck leg with potato whilst the others shared a goats salad and nice home made chips.

Fantastic. The most friendly welcome. We are wine makers and when we asked for advice were recommended the cheapest wine on the menu, which was great. We ate the menu du jour (moules marinères) with the dessert du jour (fondant choco poire) and homemade profiteroles. When we asked for a dessert wine, we were presented with a bucket of muscat each, which was also delicious. We were also recommended, earlier in our visit, to eat at L'Amandier, a restaurant round the corner. The staff were friendly but we had a hair in our very dry apperitif cake and were placed, bizarrely at the back of the windowless restaurant with the other two occupied tables. Nobody sat in the front three tables that had natural light? We paid far more and felt shut away from the world. We would recommend wholeheartedly this simple little treasure and we will return!bonjour!!!!!Merci beaucoup pour votre choix.

We visited yesterday for lunch because the menu looked really interesting. Nothing disappointed, except that the pudding we wanted was sold out! The ladies waiting on tables were welcoming, friendly and helpful. With a view of the marina, we ate sardines and snails for starters and mains of dorade on risotto ( delicious), and grilled pork, also highly recommended by other half, all cooked to order. Two glasses of lovely rose, and water, all for 38 euros! A restaurant that really needs to be tried, highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are here.

Nice restaurant with a terrasse during the summer . Most of our dishes are homemaid and our inspirations come from foreign countries like asia , italia ...And also from several parts of France
We were in the area around the middle of August this year, and found this place by accident on a sunday evening, initially just looking for somewhere local for a drink. It was very busy, yet we were greeted and found a table outside. The waiter, who I believe was also the owner, quickly took our order, and went through the menu and all of the specials, describing each dish and what went into them.We didn't originally intend to eat anything big as we'd had a large and late lunch, but the food being served to other tables just looked too good.We opted for 3 specials (an oriental wok noodle dish with scallops and prawns, a taster of 3 steak tartares with homemade chips and salad, and a meat dish with steak and chicken) and a salad, all of which were superb. I had wanted to try a steak tartare dish since arriving in France but had been apprehensive, but after eating this I wished I had ordered it sooner. In fact we all agreed it was one of the best meals we'd had for a while. Which isn't bad considering we weren't hungry.I will say that you wouldn't expect to find a restaurant where this one is situated. It is right in the middle of a small collection of shops, but don't let this put you off. The service was warm and friendly, and the food spot on. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend this as a place for a spot of lunch or dinner.Thank you so much for all your compliments . I 'm very proud of all my team , they really deserve all this succes . Anyway i hope to see you again soon in our restaurant

Discovered this restaurant by chance on our first evening in Frejus and re-visited last night. Lovely warm welcome both times. Food amazing. Beef perfectly cooked and so tender. Fish fresh and flakey, never over cooked. Outstanding beetroot starter, simply served and unbelievably tasty. Could not fault this little restaurant. Strongly recommended.

We happened upon this restaurant when in Saint Raphael, and it was a lovely find. The menu was very small, but the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and I really couldn't fault. Good wine and good food. The restaurant is not on the beachfront like many of the restaurants in Saint Raphael, but it's in a nice quiet setting. Recommended.

We got there for a second time and was extremely happy to see that it was even better than before! The welcoming and the service were perfect! The waitress is a very pleasant person, ready to help with everything! But the best part is the food itself! It is great! First, it is fresh products, second it is greatly cooked and third they have daily menu -plat du jour- which is excellent and quite big for a rather cheap price! I really appreciated everything and highly recommend it!

There is always a warm welcome from Frederique (Front of House) and her husband Sebastian (Chef). The menus is varied, imaginative and reasonable as is the wine. Products are carefully sourced, prepared and served with enthusiasm and love. This is the culinary Dynamic Duo.

We invite you to enjoy excellent dishes from Tuesday to Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday lunch. Visit us and experience what makes DiP restaurant Fréjus so charming!
We were in Frejus and were looking for a good place to eat. Trip advisor listed this as one of the best rated places. And we were not disappointed. The meal was very good, with a good balance between quality and price. Even the deserts were excellent - the home made yogurt was awesome. The space is very nice with enough space and distance between tables. The outside space in a small garden was very nice and quiet.Adding to this the very friendly staff and service, I can only highly recomend Dip.
