Welcome at The Red Box, a modern asian-french fusion restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen with a fashionable situation and a very warm and smiling atmosphere and service. The menus are based on a healty edition of the classic french bistro cuisine with a
Bit different but excellent. The two of us had 5 small Chinese plus chicken as starters followed by duck and lamb all of which were top quality. Wine cote de Rhône was very nice as well. Service good with the disks explained. Overall cost was 1000 dk which was a tad pricey however around standard for Copenhagen which is expensive.

My wife and I booked this restaurant based upon the reviews we read on TripAdvisor and we are sorry that we did. The ambiance, furnishings and decor, are very nice but that is all that is good about this very pretentious and very overpriced restaurant. For $732.00 US plus tip we had 1 vodka martini, 3 very small glasses of wine, 8 very tiny teaspoon size appetizers (amouse bouse) that were tasteless, 4 oysters on the half shell with sauce and 2 beef fillets (3 ounces each). We were stunned by the small portions and and the cost of our "dinner" and we don't understand the positive reviews of this restaurant on TripAdvisor. We are still trying to figure out what happened. Did we misunderstand the menu and order improperly (we ordered a la carte)? Even if this is what happened it still doesn't come close to justifying the price that we paid. We have come to the conclusion that this is truly a restaurant for people who have so much money they need to find ways to spend it foolishly like a lot of the very wealthy do. Don't bother going to this restaurant even if you have money to burn. Save yourself the trouble and either burn the money or flush it down the toilet.

Food and service were excellent. Every dish was really interesting and extremely savory- wiping down the sauces with the also excellent homemade bread. Wines were also delicious- ordered by the glass, tended to follow recommended pairings even though we ordered a la carte. A very special meal. Was weird that it wasnt crowded (8:30 Sat night) but it was all great.

Just off the beaten track but feels a million miles from the tourist throng. Good food, and they really are French.

I visited Reinwald's during the Frederiksberg Dage and participated in their outdoor street party. The arrangement was really lovely with nice tasty dishes and good wines. They had arranged that an ice sculpture artist worked on decorative ice blocks and a DJ played lounge music. It was a lovely afternoon

Restaurant Mondän is a really nice place. Great atmosphere. We had fish soup, tartar, Duroc pig and tarte. Everything was fine, except that both the fish soup and the pig would have benefitted from some heat. Fish soup must be hot and the pig could have been warmer. A bit diappointed.

Sweet cafe... nice glasses of pinot and two pizzas worked a treat. One mushroom and ham, and one goat cheese, apples and walnuts, both with fresh arugula to top. Thin crust, light enough dinner that we had desserts, lemon tart and a rhubarb pastry to die for. All the TripAdvisor recommendations were spot on!!! Nice friendly service, too, thanks! (Ah, one note... perhaps people with mobility problems might have difficulty handling the stairs.)

Chez Bruno - La Maison du Boeuf is a small cosy brasserie with a more relaxed and informal atmosphere than a classic brasserie. High quality, good ingredients, classic cooking methods characterize the food, and when the chef is particularly happy, you wil
Disappointed, thought it would be so much better that it actually was. Service alright, but it took 1 hour to get the main course. The main course wasn't any better than if I did it myself. The vegetables was unrecognizable and greasy. First course was good though.
