Le Resto is so unassuming from the outside, quite different from your typical Dinan eateries in its contemporary decor. However once inside it oozes all the best in French dining! Superb food, excellent service and extremely reasonably priced. I could go on, but why not just try it yourself, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Le Comptoir is a wonderful little restaurant that we regularly visit for breakfast or lunch during our stays in Dinan. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food delicious. Breakfast is value for money @ 5.50 euros which includes freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and baguette with butter and jam. The lunch menu is a nice mix of light and substantial dishes and includes a different special every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this delightful petite restaurant.

13 years ago, we first ate at this fairly new restaurant and have been devotees since then. Today we took a French friend for lunch there and she was as delighted as we were. She is ex-Morocco and Paris and has eaten in many places ; the friendly greeting, the menu, presentation , quality and wines were all praised. For lunch, there is a choice of 3 dishes from a menu of 9 possibilities for 19.50euros for the three. We had chicken "rillettes", enormous gambas with risotto, spicy beef with rice, deep-fried Camembert with caramel dressing, chicken slices with pesto...etc. The 2 pichets of wine- also good- meant that all 3 of us could enjoy them and not worry about driving home. To walk out after this super lunch into the mediaeval centre of Dinan just adds to the pleasure.

Once again we have returned to St Louis. During our annual stay in Dinan we usually come here at least three times. Food, service and atmosphere always excellent. Evening formula as little as â¬19 for three courses. Find your way to Rue De Lehon!

Ate here twice while staying in Evran. Caroline & Andrew are very friendly, ambience, food and service excellent. Very reasonably priced too. My son rated the burger as best ever which is an honour in itself! Looking forward to coming back again. Truly sensational....

Le Patio is in the middle of the very nice village of Evran next to the canal d'Ille et Rance. Our bedrooms are all ensuite with shower or bathroom and toilets. All our bedrooms are very calm with no noise of traffic at all. The patio of the hôtel/restaur
Stayed here for one night after visiting friends in the local area. A room for 2 people cost E60 and has a shower and sink and toilet. The wardrobe only has a couple of wire hangers so best to bring your own. Room No. 1 is a large room with a large comfortable bed and a television. There were only two pillows (one each) but the owner Gaille immediately provided two more on request. The room is quite stark but is clean and has a radiator so you can control the heating. It is very quiet as the rooms are at the back of the building. There is also parking at the rear. We asked if we could check in at 1600 but were told 1700 would be better. On arrival at 1700 the door was locked and we had to ring the owner but he appeared immediately and was very friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we were at a friend's party but the restaurant is very attractive and they also do pizza takeaway. We did have a couple of drinks in the bar and had fun chatting to Gaille (?) and other locals. They are also dog friendly and have a gorgeous dog of their own. Breakfast is E8 and consists of bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and coffee. Would stay here again if visiting friends in the area.

We have visited this place for many years as we have family in the village who are regular customers. We just can't fault it in any way. Delicious food that is freshly prepared and good value for money. They are very accommodating and a family run business. Can't recommend enough. You must visit!
