Nice Sunday roast, everything was delicious. Only thing Iâd say that disappointed us was our starters that seemed to be bought in, not made on site. Mozzarella sticks in particular seemed like something youâd get in McDonaldâs. But service was efficient, our large dog was very welcome and Sunday lunch set menu a reasonable price. Had a great night loved everything and the gluten free options were amazing. The regular menu and gluten free menu had sooooo many options it took us almost half an hour to decide what to eat and everything we chose was delicious

Jean-Philippe, Kim and Jerome have run Le Petit Nantais with impeccable passion and dedication for more than 20 years, and yet they all still manage to make every visit feel like a special occasion. I went with my family today and had roast pork with honey and ginger, boudin noir and pommes puree which was amazing. Others had traditional cassoulet, and steak poivre.JP and Mrs are always delightful to chat to, and Jerome does a great job always. Even if he did forget to tell me about the Rose Veal. Thanks you Petit Nantais, and thank you JP for the wonderful piece of veal you gave me for my birthday. Birthday lunch booked last minute, it was a set menu with a great selection, hard to choose as everything sounded delicious, we loved our food, amazing taste and high quality, portions were a good size and the service impeccable.Cannot wait to return to this local gem!

Nice ambience there despite being by the main road into Esher. Michelle is probably the best waitress they have ever had there, excellent friendly service. Food very good. We shared a crab pate, with hot toasted bread. My friend had the Breton Chicken which was tender and tasty, with leeks, cougettes and mash. I had the beef Bourguignon, which was a bit stringy but very tasty, on a bed of mash and shallots, with a side of green beans. We were both tempted by the coffee with a warm (hoit!) fruity scone with clotted cream and jam, delicious! Cost £76 before discount but including wine and tip,
