Reviews on French food in English Harbour, Antigua, Caribbean. English Harbour is a natural harbour and settlement on the island of Antigua, in the extreme south of the island. A really special place in such an unusual building. Very unique and different. Itâs in a building with shutters and no windows but inside is a big surprise with just a few tables but very good service and exceptional quality food. Very wide choice and all locally selected from markets and specialist importers. The owner/chef came out to check on us personally and we had no complaints. Recommended for that special occasion.

One of the best granolas that I ever had. This went along with excellent expresso, some French sparking water an unforgettable view and a perfect sound track I asked the owner if she could share the playlist... unfortunately not ( no Pandora or Spotify ), anyway. Fantastic breakfast place.

Set in a charming Caribbean cottage surrounded by a tropical garden, Colibri is a new French Creole restaurant in the heart of English Harbour. Combining our love for food and passion for our craft, we strive to create an unforgettable dining experience.
The atmosphere is very different from what is normally found in English Harbor. It is a cool place, nice to look at, full of light. The outdoors is really cozy, just after passing the fence, you enter a different environment. With an absolutely pleasant open-air bar, you should go for a drink before entering or arriving at your table. The bartender (Karen) is absolutely professional and charming, and is always willing to make you experience something tasty and tailor made. Once you get to your table, you will have a short but solid menu (I love short menus). I could delve into the menu, but I'll just say that I love Foie Gras (although I must say that last time I felt it was a smaller portion and that the "toast" on the sides was wet). Diddier and his team do a great job, with excellent and friendly service and a different and pleasant taste. Since it opened (December) I have been 4 times and each time it has been excellent. I would like to recommend some white noise in the dining area, I think it could make the atmosphere even more pleasant,

Combining traditional French culinary creations, exquisite décor and superior service, La Brasserie provides a refreshing dining experience at the heart of Antigua Slipway in English Harbour. Whether with friends, family or a loved one, it's the perfect p
My wife and I booked a room for a night at the Admiral's Inn hotel for our anniversary on a Tuesday in June. We really looked forward to it, we'd been before and loved it. What we did not know was that neither the restaurant nor the bar open on a Tuesday evening. Disaster loomed and we visited the nearby Copper and Lumber Hotel to see if their restaurant was open. It wasn't but the lady there was remarkably helpful and suggested La Brasserie across the harbour. She mentioned that it had a free water taxi service and even rang them to make a booking for us. So it was that the little boat came chugging across at 7pm and collected us.The restaurant is run by a French couple and the lovely lady was waiting for us to help us off the boat and to see us to our seats. Everything about the place was great, from the Amuse Bouche that were given to the delicious Warm Goats Cheese Salad that we had for starters. I'd really recommend that dish, it was exceptional. We both had pizza for main course and both really enjoyed them. They were so large that we couldn't finish them and were offered a box to take the remainder home. It was a lovely evening, the hosts were charming and the costs were very, very reasonable. (Under $100 all in including wine!). Throw in that little water taxi and it made for a wonderful evening and I'd heartily recommend it.Many thanks, we enjoy to make outs guests happy isabelle & Eric
