We decided to go on a road trip.. perfect time of year ( before the summer madness).. This establishment sits right off Montauk Hwy.. In the quaint town of Quoque.. A big White House with ample parking.. we were greeted immediately by the valet.. a sweet woman named Bonnie..The Restaurant is ample, Bright..seating in several rooms.. Reservations highly recommended.. we sat at the bar.. which is fully stocked.. Bartender â Brian â.. friendly, helpful, took our drinks orders , and chatted with us..We were seated in the room directly passed the bar.. Large, sunny room.. all types of seating.. we were asked for our preference ( whattt... nice)..Our server was amazing, very sweet, knowledgeable, accommodating ( regarding allergies).. Iâm so sorry I donât recall her name!We had a cheese plate to start, small enough to tempt the palate..We followed with( we were hard pressed to choose, so many delicious food descriptions)Pan roasted Skate, Hudson valley duck foie gras terrine,The Egg( a custard egg with sevruga caviar..I have no words, so so delicious!), the Boullabaisse, so savory..We had a Kings banquet! The service, the ambiance, the food TOP GRADE!Well worth the trip.. If youâre there during the busy season, you can make it a day..Canât wait to bring some more friends!!

This is a small store front cafe on Main street, The breakfast crepes are a favorite with us, The food is fresh and the coffee is strong. The only drawback is there is not enough seating and a few times we had to leave because we couldn't sit. I miss the old location with the outdoor patio.

The Inn Spot On The Bay serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cheffes take turns at the stove, Cheffe Pamela is at the helm for Sunday breakfast & brunch, and Cheffe Colette takes over for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Part of the appeal, and what ha
Beautiful location for a restaurant with such potential. Actually the service was excellent...the waitress brought out our wine to Adirondack chairs set up on the shore. "Ahh. This is the life." We moved indoors for dinner, and were very pleased with menu choices. When the food arrived, in a timely, yet un-rushed manner, we both loved our apps. Crab bisque was delicious.. My husband had lobster chunks marinated in Irish whiskey. Yum. My soup portion was generous. His lobster pieces were served in a tiny dish... way too small for the $15 price! Entrees...I had roast 1/2 duck in a duck jus with marshmallow! Wild, right? But quite delicious if you're ok with a bit of sweetness. Again my husband was disappointed. Curried shrimp on rice. A real spicy kick that he loved, but the shrimp tasted of chlorine. At this point, we still loved the place...great ambience and a view to die for...but we started to lose some enthusiasm when the check arrived. Yikes! Granted, hubby had 4 glasses of wine (to my two), but only apps and entrees, with a decent tip (the waitress was great)...$210!!!! A bit much for a midweek dinner. Really, the main issue was price. The shrimp problem could have been a one time thing...but the price, ugh. Unfortunately, it will keep us from returning, and we are year-round residents. The talented chefs/owners need to rethink those prices. Cost obviously had something to do with the fact that there were only two tables occupied when we were there, where a restaurant nearby had a full parking lot! We WANT to like you, Inn Spot on the Bay!!Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that your husband did not enjoy his meal with us. We take all of our reviews to heart and will address the issues you mention in your review. We hope that you reconsider joining us again and we look forward to a better meal!Sincerely,The Team at The Inn Spot on the Bay

This place was interesting. The delight on the workers faces when discussing which options from which to choose. You could read their personal joy in the product they sold by their eager grins while describing yummy delights. They have designer custom smores and delicious toffee! It was a pure delight to share in the yummy treats. We did purchase some to go because so delicious.
