Starting out your day with a "petit déjeuner" or grabbing a snack during lunch time or even enjoying a delicious three course dinner in an enchanting atmospere - Bistro Erminig is the perfect escape to little Brittany right at the heart of the Dusseldorf
Lovely service, from a very nice young man. (I feel like such an old bag saying that.)The cider was delicious, if expensive.Main course was disappointing. Not bad, but I wouldn't order it again. Cheese board was delicious, nicely presented, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Decor/atmosphere appears to be a work in progress. Electrical cabling is visible, as are large silver air ducts. Which looks ugly and cheap. Yet the rustic wooden seating, tables, and shelving are fine.

...a typical French brasserie feeling in Düsseldorf...food was excellent - the appetizer with egg, espuma and octopus was delicious and huge, while the warm chocolate cake with icecream was just ok. Service friendly but confused (kept getting the wrong stuff...for a party of 2...). Prices ok.

Roberts Bistro is in a very nice location, the food is very good, everything I tested there was really tasty and appetizing, they have a good selection of meat, fish, and vegetables. The Lamb is fantastic, the entrecote tender and tasty, the goose excellent. So the food is out of questions, let's talk about the negative things :1. It's a shame that you can't reserve a table.... you just go there and "hope" they have a table for you2. One of the waiters is terribly rude, seems that she doesn't want to please you3. The tables are very small and you're very packed inside.4. Now that there's also some table in the outdoor area, they were able to pack the tables in the same way as inside. The wine list is good, a bit too expensive in my opinion. But apart from these logistic problems, the food, and the price is very good.Gilbert

The Brasserie "1806" fine dining restaurant combines attentive service in a relaxing atmosphere. The panoramic windows offer a beautiful view over Düsseldorf's Old Town and the eclectic and vibrant area of the German metropolis beside the river Rhine. Hea
Our nice concierge at the Medici hotel helped us make a reservation since it was Friday night.Very polished, airy and inviting ambience. From the moment we walked in Samuel the Maitre Dâ made us feel very welcome. If you go get, a cocktail or three;) The cocktail menu itself is a work of art (manga/anime to be precise). The very skilled Mixologist, I believe his name is Savvas, is happy to come over and make recommendations and answer questions. Theyâve won competitions with their drinks and Iâm not surprised. The ones we had were all delicious but our favorite was the Origami. It comes with banana bread. And our favorite item of the meal was the incredible, silky and bursting with flavor Wild Prawn Laksa. Think decadent bisque with a Malaysian spin as it uses coconut milk and curry to transcend a mere bisque;) Definitely a must try!Again thanks to Samuel, Savvas & Niclas for the fantastic service and I want that Laksa recipe. The chef out did himself there. Truly the best Iâve ever had!Dear guest,Thank you very much for your visit and for your magnificent review! It was our teamsâ pleasure to welcoming you to our restaurant, the Brasserie â1806â, and to the âCapella Bar & Cigar Loungeâ, and to create a perfect taste experience for you. To achieve this, our kitchen and bar teams develop recipes with special ingredients, e.g. syrup of home-made banana-bread. We will gladly provide some tips and tricks, just contact us or visit us again! You will be most welcome. In a historic building, my fiends and I very much enjoyed the French style dishes.Particularly, seafood and fish got high scores. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. When the temperature is right, I recommend eating on the nice terrace.

This Bistro is always full because the food is great, the atmosphere friendly and busy and (considering the quality of the food and cooking) the value is great.I recommend arriving a bit early (5-6pm) otherwise you have to wait in line. Since the place is always full, be ready to share your table with others (generally nice people).I had the potato soup, superb. Take at least the medium size. Then the Dusseldorfer steak (great), then the triple sorbets (as great as they look in the picture). My table-mates (complete strangers) enjoyed the huge Wiener Schnitzel and Red Salmon, so I think these could be recommended too. This restaurant is worth a special trip to Dusseldorf. I shall go there again.
