Stayed here when cycling the Loire. This was a town with very few hotels and the main ones were closed. The staff were not really friendly or helpful, although they did provide us with somewhere to store our bicycles. The rooms were very basic but clean. Prices were modest, which was reflected in the level of service.

We were camping down the road and were recommended this restaurant. We were all after a decent steak and frites and we weren't let down. The menu was simple but executed perfectly. The steak was delicious as were the chips and salad. The wine list was also good and I can vouch for the Pinot noir. The service was friendly. I would say that we went on a busy Saturday night without booking and our waitress was a little rushed off her feet but she coped well and was lovely throughout. The decor also a little outdated but the quality of the food more than compensated for this. We all left happy and would return.

Bistrot Pizz is a nice little restaurant. In this place you will always be well received. Typical french cuisine and delicious pizzas to eat with friends and familly in a friendly place. Reservations and take away availables.

Smiling, accurate, positive service - a good brasserie menu for most tastes. Promptly served, well presented and great to eat.We each had salads and the cheese and potato pie followed by chocolate tart and coffee. With a small glass of wine the cost was around â¬34. We shall definitely be going again when in the area.Nous vous remercions vivement et sommes ravis de vous avoir fait passer un agréable moment.

Quite by change we found " Les Diligences" and had lunch. The food, service, presentation and setting were all just about perfect; a purely delightful experience of French cuisine. Highly recommended.

We where running late due to traffic hold up awaiting friends. We missed the restaurant next to Cafe Restaurant Le Modern as they said they were finished for lunch. A few steps away we entered CRLM expecting the same response, however they explained they were finished however would be happy to accommodate the party of four. They explained they would "make up" something. Food was fabulous, service was friendly and we didnt feel that we were holding them up. The bill arrived and we were very surprised that for our large 3 course lunch we only paid 13E pp. Highy recommend and will share with otherbarge friends for sure.

The husband and wife team offer a warm hospitable welcome and some of the best and tastiest food we've enjoyed in eons. The fixed price menus at lunchtime are a steal and the suggested wines were a joy. Book ahead and enjoy a treat!
